Possession is nice, but for long periods of that match we didn't do anything with it and Ipswich looked comfortable without it, they were direct and pounced well on our mistakes, which today were plentiful. Can't expect to win a game with some of the defending tonight, a good few players tonight showed they just aren't good enough unfortunately.

Coventry were the best fans at Portman Road this season along with Sheffield Wednesday. Great win for us, and we have done well to get four points from Hull away and Coventry away, and have ,lost the fewest away games in the league this season, five. Coventry did not play like they were on the beach, so credit to them, and they need a stronger squad to compete next season, and there best of luck.
For next season gotta sort out the set plays …. Corners were just terrible, free kicks the same 🤨 Cov had more than enough good chances but just didn’t take them … anyhoo Robins knows where Cov are lacking … Summer transfer window should be interesting 🤔 … a little disappointed Cov didn’t make the playoffs but it’s been an exciting season on the whole …. Don’t play de-silva he’s the weak link in our defence every team knows he comes in way to my much and they just go round the outside of him , this has happened numerous times.
I've enjoyed some real highlights this season and Mark and Doug have given us such stability, so many positives. All I will say is I'm cognizant of the fatigue, fixture pile up and small squad numbers but what is the strategy? If I miss my sales target my boss slaps down my monthly figures and says "So what are you gonna do about it? What's the plan?" It's no good Mark saying "They're tired" next year in April when they're third and need to find a 5th gear. I think we just field 'B' teams in the cups personally. Outrageous perhaps but we need a plan, our league form since Wolves has been woeful, like we're defending at The Alamo. Give the fans a big win against QPR guys to end on a high.
Mate he ain’t that bad, he save shot ability is better than Wilson but granted he’s not the best at playing out from the back /passing…seriously he’s played well this season and kept many shots out that I don’t believe Wilson is saving. I do really like Wilson but he’s gotta fight for his place. Last season the defence made Wilson’s job much easier, we’ve had a brand new defence and we need to get stronger for next season..another centre back and left back should enough cover. Not to mention we probs need a striker and x2 midfielders to compete.
Wilson more then made up for it with some wonder saves but yeah splash the cash on a goalie that will have worldies to get us 0-0s when under the cosh and a smash and grab 1-0 away at the top teams. You ain't gonna get one of the for under 3m just because the know AV.
It’s his first season with us and overall he’s been solid. People need to stop getting on his back and have faith in him, he’s relatively young for a keeper and he’s good with the ball at his feet. There’s a reason he’s a championship keeper if we made the prem id understand wanting a new keeper but he’s gonna be better next season along with half the squad this season

No one other than Leeds and Leicester are anywhere near the "newly promoted" team who have got 93 points and only lost 6 all season. They are a class side, and have been all season. They've battered far better sides than Coventry. Don't be too hard on yourself.

@@MarlboroughBlenheim1 mostly 1st team squad. The 2 goals against walton were the only times Maidstone got out of their own half, and at least 1 of those goals was first class. So can’t blame Walton 😆. Just couldn’t put the ball in the net despite spending 85 minutes inside Maidstone box 🙃 Did do us a favour tho 👍🏻
One game left for city now. Need to recruit wisely in the summer and need to start the new season better than cov have in the last two seasons to have any chance of at least getting into the playoffs again.
We need to stop this weird tactic where we gp from goalie, passes to defender, back to goalie, all within the area, nothing good comes of it, we often leak a goal when we do, surely they don't fo this in training?
The Fan Cup Con job has physchologically killed the players. Because apart from the Cardiff Game(kitching) we were 50/50 to makes the play offs. Due to the wheels falling off at west brom who all pundits had locked in at 5th and Norwich becoming draw specialist it was there for the taking. This is not sour grapes these are facts. The players need to dust themselves off and get their minds back in line. A few new faces and with 3 poor teams coming down we have a huge chance next season.
Dasilva is not good enough. Why drop Bidwell who is far better defensively and a better crosser of the ball for a bloke who cant defend and teams have worked out is rediculous
ITFC were the best organised team I’ve seen all season. You’re as knackered as we are but the difference was that all you needed was to nick a goal and watch us chase the game. Fair play though - good luck in the PL.
Eccles is not a winger, Kelly is past his best, and while sheaf is a great lad for me hes not quite a leader of men, we need a general at the back young or old, and more options from the bench?? so we dont keep playing players in unatural possitions. Cant wait to get sakamoto back on the grass. I'm really looking forward to seeing what mason ephron clark brings to the squad?? Will be very interested to see who the club brings in to replace O'hare?? All in all a pretty decent season but we need to hit the ground running next season, So all transfer buisness needs concluding early.

Binks when he actually plays, Thomas, Milan and Bidwell are sound. Kitch, lati and both goalies are L1 standard.

His mistakes have cost us lots of points and even in the FA Cup semi-final his mistake cost us a goal.
