Well, i mean it also has it's good things, freedom is like that, i got a building half deleted in a server full of rules because the admins didn't like how big it was, truely it was in it's place but that's the thing, to me it's the equivalent of politics, you can build here but if i have a not that happy morning you actually can't freely, honestly i prefer real freedom, if someone has to cut it on half better gonna get some tnt or get some good hacks to do it efficiently...rather than just go and delete it via commands...

@@fizzy2123 Exactly, appart from the fact that admins have more concentrated power xd, so it's harder to get them away... like in real life actually... some people complain on individuals in anarchy but then politicians are like the same but with more power... it's like having a wolf get the sheep protected xd

Hands down the most beautiful build I've ever seen in minecraft. the sheer amount of detail is just entrancing. Originally, I only left my alt there so that I could visit whenever, since I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for another legendary vid fastvincent1, its an honor to be a part of this one. 💜

Krobar takes his bases getting griefed well, he’s always onto something bigger and better.

I think to really be creative you can't be trying to hang on to the past. And when you're confident you can produce more, it's easier to move on from what was.
Plus like, he gets the satisfaction of knowing nobody can ever get the clout of griefing it, and the build itself is still preserved in lore videos like this and world downloads.
I'm sure the fact that there are world downloads of the base makes it hurt less.

If the whole point of self-griefing was to avoid clout for the griefers I don't think you should have given the names of the griefers, it goes against what Krobar wanted

He knows what's going to happen and that he will probably lose the base he spent so much time on, yet he has such a short response. I'm sure he said some stuff after but it's still intriguing. Hope he builds something greater somewhere where it'll be appreciated 🙏🏽
Surprisingly this bridge has the best outcome to happen to it on this server. No betrayal. No cord exploit. No hackers. Nothing. And the creator himself chose to destroy it before other can.
His builds get just better and more insane…

Every time I see a build like this, my first thought is always "who would want to grief this!?" Its like bombing the Lincoln Memorial or bringing down the Towers.
Its exactly because of that. We all have the primal instinct to topple grand things. That's why its so satisfying to see Lego creations crumble. Hell, I bet a lot of us fantisized destroying the Effiel Tower like Godzilla

Astounding build. Was stunning to look at. Stoked to have seen it before it was griefed.
The bridge is one of the coolest builds on 2b2t i have ever seen but i hate that people always find the beautiful builds and grief it.
2b2t wouldnt be half as interesting without griefing. Nothing more fun than secretly planning your base or running into ruins of old bases with insane stories to tell
If you just want cool buildings you can do that anywhere else on minecraft bjt 2b2t is different

SOO MUCH better to take it all in!! that had to be on purpose, i said a few times u talk so fast, but this feels more like a sit down, relax, and tell this wonderful story. no hurry. i love that. makes it way easier to understand and enjoy, to imagine these scenarios, especially since watching the screen visually we are already taking in so much visual information looking at the builds. very epic

imagine what Krobar could do with 1.16 blocks. Hopefully 2b2t updates soon *just* so that we can see amazing builds with the new blocks!
It will never update. Server owner even said so himself. To update, the world would have to be completely wiped and restarted. Kinda what makes 2B2T so unique. Its the longest running outdated minecraft server to date.

Massive kudos for a great build. I would never have had the patience or motivation. I see some commenters wonder why he builds on an anarchy server. I suspect the thrill of possibly getting caught is part of what keeps builders like Krogar motivated to play and build. That element of danger can help keep Minecraft interesting and exciting long past the time where the passion for building on a 'safe' server would have gone stale.

My friend and I are building a 1:1 replica of this build in our survival realm, its taken so far about 2 weeks to just finish the bottom pillars!
My friend is a 2b2t veteran and iirc he saw it when it was up, he told me about it awhile ago and we both keep putting it off due to uni work etc.

I've met paul when I happened to see him on chat.
Also one of their older spawnbases was literally just a plane of grass and some obsidian thing.
This is the my favorite base in minecraft by far. There is a whimsical element to it. He put more effort in building the sewer than I do in my singleplayer worlds.
The base looked really beautiful, the first background songs sounds so good and brings some memories but I am struggling to understand why I remember it lol.

Something that brings a odd twist with griefing in minecraft is that it makes us appreciate these works more. While yes, the original is gone, the bridge itself looks amazing and i have to say, in the hellscape of 2b2t. Beauty will always shine somewhere
