I have been planning an A frame house for a while and never settled on a design until I saw this. So many things clicking for me here. Absolutely magical.
I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. My favorite parts are the skylights, floating fireplaces, especially the one in the main bedroom. Also, the water fall. The main bathroom, the play room for the kids. Also, the floating shelves in the kitchen. ❤❤❤❤❤
What an incredible place!!😮 I rarely click into the links to actually check out a place to seriously rent but I did for this one. $667 a night which for a place like this is honestly not bad. The cleaning fee, airbnb fee and taxes however are each $300 apiece adding almost an extra 1k onto the total price. If I were rich haha 😂 the location is absolutely stunning!!! Every detail here from the cozy living room, the luxurious bathroom, to the playroom for kids upstairs calls my name. Maybe someday😍! Masterfully filmed Levi, I absolutely love your drone footage, they add so much! 🔥
If I’m paying $700 per night, paying $775 is not ridiculous. But the $300 cleaning fee seems ridiculous when there is not much to clean if as a guest you do a light kitchen and baths pre-clean.
@@Originalman144 I have to agree. We’ve stayed in many airbnbs and the check out lists have gotten ridiculous. It goes beyond light cleaning, we’re talking about basically cleaning the whole house. One house had us even clean all the shower drains! And of course still a cleaning fee! Crazy!
I particularly liked the last bedroom and it's ensuite bathroom. The design in there was beautiful. Loved the open windows for the dining room over the waterfall. That was gorgeous, would be amazing to have something like that at my own place ❤
Very similar to what I've wanted to do in Colorado forever. An A-frame compound of multiple units (large A-frame for indoor gatherings and separate bed suites in smaller structures), connected by decking and outdoor shared space (firepit/cooking, etc). Ultimate hang for family and friends, with much more privacy provided by the separate structures.
Wow, what an enormous, beautiful DOUBLE A-frame! And amazing landscape, like a dream to be with the land while immersed in so much comfort. This seems like it would work as an actual AirBnB, with the rooms rented separately and the ENORMOUS dining & living areas as well as the firepit, not to mention the surrounding land to go for hikes & relaxation. And having a chef/cook, maybe one of the owners, prepare a wonderful breakfast for guests. That foyer would be a welcoming, cozy reception area, or left as it is, if a non-pretentious concierge (again maybe one of the owners) could greet guests & show them to their rooms, which are all great. That loft would be so fun for a young family, since the separate living area would be great for the parents to have some quiet time in the evening together. Again just a similar thought I had with another large home you showed. But moreover, thanks for another wonderful video!😊
I’ll be honest I’m going to copy this design and build once my land closes. Such a dope design. I think I will want it as an open loft is the only change really I’d wanna make
Type A was one suggestion 😅 I was told that Type A had to be made by strengthening the sides. It may be fun to think about safety and design things on your own. It's strange that it looks more beautiful than I expected. It has the same shape as a mountain😂
What a spectacular design, and with that dreamlike landscape, although I would have liked to leave a wood texture as a finish on the interior walls, the house is still beautiful. hI fromm Medellin Colombia
The spatial division is very measurable and functional. I didn't expect that a triangular cone house could be filled with various rooms that were quite spacious. I don't know what the length, width and height of this building are.
My guess would be 200-275 or so for construction. A-frame is a simpleconstruction. The X factor is the price of the land and setting up water, sewer/septic, and electrical. My guess is 500-600k all in. If they rent it out at 700 per night x 125 night per year is 87k. After 5-7 years they recoup their investment. If they can get those occupancy nights above 200 to say booked for 225-250 night per year they would be making a killing after 3 ish years.
Hello, I hope you're doing well! I've recently purchased a 40-acre plot of land and am planning to build an A-frame house on it. I'm curious about the designer and construction team you used for your A-frame house. Could you share some information about them? Thank You,
The only thing that is very poorly designed is that the master bedroom has the dining room as access, that could be redesigned so that when they sit at the table they do not have to see the bed unmade, the clothes on the floor, etc.. this space can be move or redesign.
Man I wish I knew how much this cost to build... Den homes and AVRAME homes aren't necessary the worst in terms of cost, but the builders still suck...
@@leeboo2521 I'm finding that around 6% (on the high end) own a second home in the US. That's like almost 8 million people. So around 8 million (probably way more for investment and air b and bs) homes per year are either vacant most of the time, or are 3rd party rented. Its a total waste of living space. Remember hotels?? People should live in those homes. Air b and B-ing a 20 acre property is insanity. A family could liver there and have a hobby farm, creating more tax revenue and community connections.
Trying to force other people to use their own property the way YOU see fit in America should be criminal. Buy your own land and do what you want with it.

Places like this should build the cleaning fee into the nightly price.

Got so many new ideas to use for my next home. Thanks for finding this beauty
This one was well done what a difference adding on another wing makes to the A-frame design thank you for sharing God bless you and your family
this may be my favorite A frame build yet
Absolutely fabuulous...all that height and volume...privacy with the second A frame. Love it!!!😊 And generous floor space. You did it!!!

How could someone afford to build something like this just for Airbnb? Amazing

love those accordion doors in dining hall over the river - wow! those are not cheap, about $50k for both!
I looked at new four bedroom doublewides, over $200,000

Beautiful! Regards to the family Levi!
So much inspiration wrapped into one space…how can we get the build plans?
my family designed them our selves.
THIS is my family's cabin 😂😂
I like when you talk and show in the same time its faster and better!🔥
Can I say……GORGEOUS
The design is DOPE!
Great idea for extra space.
On suite bathroom is awesome
I think I might do this, this way I can start with one a-frame and then expand if I like it / need more space.

Absolutely stunning in every aspect
I want this one baby🌻 We don't even have to move out of state ⚡
One of my favorite designs.
Best house design. Surely No. 1 in my bucket list.
GREAT JOB MY BROTHER 💯🔥🦋
I would have a hidden pool table/ formal dining room table combo.
This design is baller. And very easy to build
Ha ha it was not. This is my family's cabin.

Gorgeous! love the outside shots.
What an awesome house ......
Did this place get whacked in hurricane Helene? Boone, NC was flooded bad.
Gorgeous 😍🥰

So true.....
I would need a third or at least a barn for a garage
LOVE IT!
Quite lovely
This is epic
I would love this
Amazeballs 😍😍😍
Superb
The prices nowadays just scared me.
me too
Can't hang art in an A frame. Good for massive snow in the Swiss Alps and thats about it.
Love it! ❤
I hope it survived Helene.❤
a bit of damage, but overall fine.

6:38 Is that a scaled down A-Frame replica or toy?
toy! replica would be cool
Just … 😮
Beautiful, the problem is that I would go to the room of the singles friends 😢
I always wonder: do you pay or get invited?
Add music and slow down 🤝
WOW
No stove ventilation is a deal breaker.
As the son of the owners I watched it be built and the vents are hidden in the wall behind the stove
What’s up Joseph Gordon-Levitt
😍😍😍
Love everything except the smothering pasty drywall. Could've been a little more creative or modest
not the bed facing the door
so its not an A frame but a M frame XD
I want to build this in the philippines. Pls can someone give me the blueprint😅
our family designed them, but this was our first time, and our builders got the rights to the design.):
I need to know the architect so I can hire them
we designed them ourselves.
You mean an upside down W frame.

SUPER IDEA POZDRAWIAM SERDECZNIE . YST OK
Let me guess, $200 per square foot.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Opulence!
I hate all the white if it was more like a log cabin it would be perfect
Me
not very well thought out if you have to walk through someones bedroom to get to the fire pit.
there is a path past the water feature.
hot take- air bnb's arent set up for living full time. Using 12(edit from 20) acres for an air bnb should be criminal.
Lots of folks have multiple homes and it seems better than letting it sit unused
