I like how this game went with a Heisei era Godzilla movie vibe. It feels like a movie with the way it is presented. I can now finally say I've seen someone play Super Godzilla. Thanks SGG!
Bagan definitely looks badass in his true form, but Super Godzilla will always be my favorite!
One of the reason why the bagan movies never got made I heard was because of the drastic size differences between him and Godzilla would make it very expensive to shoot it. Super Godzilla only 110 meters tall bagans like 250 meters tall.
+slagar the cruel 85 Bagan's actually 150 meters! Still really tall, just above or equal to Heisei King Ghidorah. But Super Godzilla is indeed 110 meters.

Wish there was a cheat code (legit or Game Genie) that allowed you to play as Super Godzilla through the whole game, one which guarantees the game doesn't crash/get all glitchy, too
Would have been SO satisfying to use him against the most annoying bosses
There's a code that allows you to play Super Godzilla from start to finish... but yeah, once you enter battles with monsters he was never intended to fight, the scene cuts to black for a second when you try to use a special attack, and no damage is dealt/received. You can only do damage by punching or bumping into them repeatedly. It would probably require creating custom animated scenes just to deal damage to the enemy monsters.

I feel like Minus One Godzilla's atomic breath would easily break through Bagan's force field, and may actually leave a mark on his armor. Otherwise, it'd still incredibly one-sided in Bagan's favor.

also chest beam is like rarest move in super godzilla game it did lot of damage to non final boss like mecha kg

+squishysfatherrage Bagan is infamous in the fandom for being slated for several films... which never happened. Toho pushed for him from the early '80s into the late '90s to appear, but for one reason or another it always fell through. But his design and personality influenced the creation of quite a number of monsters - Battra, Destoroyah, Desghidorah, Kilazee from Ultraman: Towards the Future, and possibly Reizaus from Super Fleet Sazer-X... to name a few.

@SuperGodzillaGaming I said this on your Wikizilla Bagan episode, but I beat Bagan with regular Godzilla when I was a kid. I don’t know how I did it, but I played the game years later, and found out you could turn into Super Godzilla. I had no idea you could upgrade Godzilla the first time around. I just thought the title “SUPER Godzilla” was just in reference to the Super Nintendo like a ton of games that were out for the SNES at that time. I obviously didn’t read the text enough to figure out there was another form you could become. All I do remember about the battle was that it took a really long time. The next time I played the game and discovered the ability to transform into Super Godzilla, I flipped out bc of how cool it was. And MAN that Bagan fight was a lot easier with him. I wish we’d see that design again some time, like as skin in another game, or maybe even in a movie!
