Great playing. I have a friend who has purchased a D-28 and a D-41 Special off you. They were both well set up and are beautiful guitars. You were very thoughtful and you delivery times were spot on. A great Martin Dealer!
Tuning for this is (low to high) D A D F# A D. The song is called Seven Pistols. Artist is Spoon Phillips. Here´s a full live version of the song. ruclips.net/video/PjJJ3Gk8hks/видео.html
What kills me about Martin guitars is that you have these beautiful tone woods, incredible construction, scalloped bracing etc. Not to mention they're expensive, though worth every penny Save: they use plastic binding around beautiful guitars! Ivoriod (plastic!). Unlsss you buy a custom Martin or a couple of models that dont use it. It looks terrible and may not hurt the sound, though it certainly doesn't help it like wood binding would!!! Common Martin. You don't skimp on anything else! Why binding? It uses less wood than anything else. You could use the scraps from cuts from the tone woods!!!!
The song is called "Riding Back from Boston". It´s a T Spoon Phillips song. This song is on his album "Lost and Haunted Ways" Just check out www.tspguitar.com.
