You guys are so generous, giving those to friends instead of just leaving them behind, how nice. I've been talking about moving and planted mine in huge containers. It's been 3 - 4 yrs ago and the roots cracked the container. Last autumn I planted them out, I see new growth, so I'm hoping they're happy and bloom this yr.

Hello! It’s one of our favorite things to do pass on plants as we move on. Love to see how happy it makes everyone and years later to still be in contact and them sending us photos of how the plants are doing. Your hydrangeas sound very happy! They will be blooming beautifully this summer! 😃🙏💐💚

Hi! 😃💐 Always a pleasure to see you visit. We had so much fun transplanting the hydrangeas to their new owners. I’m hoping to see them bloom before we move. 🙏💐💚

Very nice to pass these along! I know I'm late to the game. I'm wondering how these did in their first year at their new home? Did they bloom the immediate season after transplanting? Curious because I would like to move my limelights to get more sun, but need to know how to plan for the blooms the season after moving.

They did amazing in their new home after transplanting. That same summer the hydrangeas filled out with blooms. Around fall time or late winter, early spring before they wake up it’s a great time to transplant to give enough time for roots to establish. Bio Tone from Espoma Organic helps so much for root growth. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

I transplanted a huge limelight to another home, and a lot of the soil loosened in transplant, 2 years later, a showstopper in its new home ❤

Glad they found a new home but still this breaks my heart that they aren't going with you.
