Some of them are not even registered and they don't even have permits but they are in our schools, while South African children are forced to stay at home due to non-placement (some end up going to private schools but it's not an option for everyone because it's too expensive, and some even have to travel far).

Indeed the immigration laws are getting tighter at a global level, its better not look at this matter as one single case targeting a group of people, its just the law and somtimes its favors the locals or not; or it's neutral/ flexible towards foreigner's or not. Such is life, do your research before you relocate and also understand the atmosphere in some countries before you relocate, you will thank God later and be willing to make alternative plans.

The home affairs cheated me. I have been living in South Africa for 20 years. I came here when I was 13 and now I am 33. I did my matric and university in South Africa. I even speak Zulu. I consider South Africa as my home. I don't even speak my home language from cameroon. I got My Permanent residence in 2014 and my son was born in August 2015 but Home affairs gave me his certificate that was not registered but a written one. Now what do I do to rectify this?
