Ok, I'm not a parent but, if you get a divorce, why separate the kids? Especially if they are blood-siblings who had been adopted into your family?
@Captainzilla418 I would also like to know
The parents were selfish and didn't think about the children's relationship with each other. They did it for themselves.
It sucks they got split up, but my hunch is that Anthony would have turned out the same, maybe even dragged his brother into his twisted lifestyle.

Don't judge people based on their choices.
Hmm, yes. My wife and I adopted two boys and since we don't like each other we're going to separate the boys who have been together through everything. That makes perfect sense.
Most of that most likely has to do with the government telling them what to do. The biggest problem in a divorce is what happens to the children. Otherwise, divorces would be pretty simple and straightforward. If both parents were good people, but they both passionately wanted to keep the kids, then the government would declared a 50/50 split with likely visitation.
@@kyrolazioko4783 bruhhh the government needs to stop giving advices, imo i think their treating this situation like a business problem

Just normal stuff.
Moral of the story: Some people just shouldn't adopt children even if they have the best intentions. All children need parents, but it takes someone special to handle troubled children.
Idk man fallout in marriage happens, i bet they were the most romantic couple years before when they adopt. The kid got luggage before they even met him
@@putraduha3176 This. People glorify adoption but as both an adopted person AND an elementary teacher, let me tell you something. I have seen dozens of children adopted very young and most of them have issues. A few had extreme issues because the biological parents had been on drugs during pregnancy and after and the child was abused in various ways. It's nearly impossible to get an infant. By the time the child gets to you, they often have emotional issues that will haunt them their entire life. I was adopted at 3 and I see a therapist to this day. I'm 34.
Yes, but there are too many troubled children and not enough special parents
What? Their lives would have been WAAAYYY worse had they not been adopted by that couple. They would've probably starved on the streets. Nothing particularly terrible happened to them, as is. Plenty of siblings grow up apart from each other even if their parents aren't divorced. I have neighbors where the husband and wife work in different countries, so the kids live in different countries and visit each other for vacations. That's not a reason to become a criminal.

Do not confuse malicious intent with impoverished upbringing. Anyone can be heartless and manipulative or compassionate and supportive. I've known a good number of people from different origins with a variety of creeds and beliefs. I've worked with people who grew up in abusive households and those who could afford to install elevators in their houses. People like to assume that everyone is good or bad and that upbringing is the only thing that can change that, and upbringing does instill some habits and beliefs, but I've know truly kind people and absolute scumbags who grew up on both sides. I won't say that people can't change, nor do I claim go know what makes someone who one becomes, but I will caution against making excuses for or condemning those you do not personally know.
