Thanks for that. I'm just getting a whole bunch of quotes for when my MG4 Excite 51 arrives. I also subscribed since you're so close to the magical 1000 subscriber mark.
Having a few cars on Novated Leases over the years I have loved it. Now that I have got a car that I don't want to get rid of, I was looking at how I could get another family car. Associate leasing was mentioned to me, upon investigation OMG! Associate leasing is effectively leasing car off an associate (wife, 18yo child, relative etc.), not a finance company getting the dollars but an associate. This is a Aus Gov and ATO approved method to income share effectively with wife or hubby. In the ATO ruling and creation of Novated\Associate leasing it was the same document, just not many have heard or understood how Associate Leasing works. It really is a great tax benefit and income source for the Associate.
@@grumpyoldmanandhisev There is a company in QLD called Financial Advisors Australia that I'm dealing with and couldn't be happier. I was truely sold on Novated Leasing until I looked into this. When I asked myself "How do leasing companies make so much money?", then compared it to what my Associate could make, I could see the massive gains. It's not for everyone due to their own circumstances but for those who could take advantage, it is a game changer.
Thank you for the information provided and also an insight in novated leases that was very informative next time you interview the rep from carbon please ask him if he does novated lease for ride share that would be very interesting many thanks
They do leasing for businesses so ride share is a business. Simplest thing to do is to call him. I am sure he would be happy to answer any questions you may have
Were you paid to do this? This was such a rubbish assessment. No mentioning of higher interest rates, the massive markup on the insurance they quote you, etc etc. Novated leasing is not for everyone.
Very informative video. Would be helpful if the CarBon reps mic was louder but otherwise a helpful insight into the basic of novated leasing.
Sorry about that

I have not heard of Associate Leasing until I read your comment. If I get a chance I will look into it thanks

Very informative. Thank you
Youre welcome
And the savings on paying less income tax (as your taxable income is much lower).
What does your son do to have to drive do much?? FIFO??
He works about 50km away from his home and does 6 days/week
Very informative
thank you
I think the risk would be the resale price to cover the balloon price at the end . EVs cars will be flooding market n gonna sell cheaper I think
Everything is a risk. The resale value of Es used to be higher than average but it is normalising out now as more and more come onto the market

No payment whatsoever. You are of course entitled to your own opinion. It is always a case of do your own research
Should have given your guest some coffee before the interview
The grumpy old man has more energy and clarity than the mumbling "expert" from Car-bon...
Higher interest rate!
Yes but with the tax breaks its still a good deal
