Great video, pretty much all true, but I feel that more emphasis should have been put on FP's main reason for dominating Colosseum, that being her bonkers WS that stuns (and thus triggers chains) in one cast. If she didn't have that, the rest of her kit wouldn't be busted. Sick editing too btw.
I really want to do a video like this! Only issue is getting footage of all who it may pertain. Not everyone is fond of having their videos sourced :^ It would be easy to replicate if Kakao had a "dev build" for content creators or a friendly mode with everything unlocked to help get necessary footage, but Kakao isn't known for the best CC practices.

Well, now we have eunha which in my opinion is counter for FP. Her rapid basic attack make useless FP chain skill, she apply ailment with 1 skill (the same speed as FP), self heal to survive when she attacks and reduce atk so she is not that threatening
well i never watched much GT videos, heck i didnt know she was hated , but truth be told if you get beat up in pvp by certain chara multiple times u start to hate them , back then i pulled FP cos shes Little princess grown up kinda like my daughter sooo i pulled for her , turned out shes amazing , so i unknowingly joined the meta , main point of all , her kit seems lore accurate since , so many people died what do you do either give up or evolve into a monster, if you observe her kit is basically everything , healer , buffer, tanker, dps, range tank(little bit) , and very good for close combat as well , well it would denying but princess is like daughter mascot of guardian tales right ? it would only make sense they gave her so much power and timeline she comes from justifies it. its like her kit is compensating for people she lost her timeline to carry , no hypercarry if we take FP out of the timeline everyone was pretty much screwed. also i can relate with many people as eventhough you have your own FP u can still hate FP as you meet stronger ones in Arena. (my personal honest opinion , they made it justifyable to make her that strong )

Lahn is a very good counter for FP, specially since developers separated her punches of her tarot attack which is very efficient to dodge FPs weapon skill
This video is talking about the past though, not the present. Before Lahn got those buffs, she was hopeless to FP, most units were hopeless since they didn’t have mechanics like she did. Of course now units like Lahn and Erina that can counter FP.

My top 3 most hated characters are: seawitch ara, noxia and erina. I play melee only and everyone of these 3 characters is a complete counter to every melee! They just lock you out so you can never touch them... Erina doesnt have a pet to "block your path"... Erina IS the blockade! And to counter anything and everything even more, Erina just got build in stunn resist and can nullify some attacks (FP needs her chainskill for that while Erina just happen to got it)............

He only works as a runer on trolls builds on Arena. FP on the other hand has good damage and can chase well with her 3 jumps. On History mode... FP wp shines well as leader restricting various enemies with just one tick. Craig depends on healers. Now on colo Craig is a joke, You only need 1 parvati and that's all, it doesn't even need battle formation. Mostly cuz all craigs on colo depends on supports and heals.

I'm sorry you had a difficult time understanding. I grew up with a REALLY bad speech impediment, to the point that it's surprising I'm able to talk how I do now. I'm working on enunciating my words better for future videos. In the meantime, here's the entire transcript for your convenience: The World 10 season finale was the most anticipated release in Guardian Tales' history. With the first season coming to an end, along with the most coveted character becoming playable, the World 10 update would be the game's highest peaking trend 2nd to global launch. However, this would end up being possibly the worst update for pvp since "Barina"; with Colosseum suffering the worst damage. Upon the arrival of Future Princess, players would immediately see an influx of light units dominating the meta with FP standing at the forefront patch after patch. But what was it about Future Princess that caused her to achieve results no other characters could since launch? At first glance, FP doesn't have impressive stats outside of HP ranking 68, 9, 54, and 52. But, once we look at her kit, you'll find she has the ability to raise her and her party members' defense by 30% while taunting nearby enemies simultaneously. She can also increase her movement speed, weapon skill regeneration, and the attack speed of her default attack by 20% for 2 seconds after hitting an opponent. Lastly, she's able to increase the HP of her and all her party members by 40% and increase her own skill Atk by 17%.
Common traits with heroes kits are increasing attack or defense by a set percentage upon receiving or delivering damage, Future Princess has a plethora of other traits such as skill regeneration, movement speed, attack speed, and defense tuning all in one set. The only reliable way to prevent her from getting these benefits is to prevent her from hitting you in the first place. But, Guardian Tales isn't the most mechanically inclined game, and that will only get you so far as FP can perform leap attacks, shoot aoe projectiles, and can create a massive tempest that can stun in one cast if you build up too much injury. FP's most prominent counter at the time was Nari, but unlike most counters in the arena, Nari was not a solid matchup due to how powerful FP's gimmicks were, and the ability to bring a 3rd character meant you could bring a dark unit to counter Nari and completely lose the opportunity altogether. Though there were other basic heroes that could maybe counter her, the problem of resource allocation still plagues Guardian Tales to this day. It simply wasn't efficient to blow hard-earned resources on less-than-subpar characters. And Nari just so happened to be an already meta pick at the time of FP's release. As a result, the meta consisted of a rock-paper-scissors trifecta. Nari, to beat Future Princess, Beth to beat Nari, and Future Princess to beat Beth. These 3 were all pivotal releases during their debut, and now they've come together to make the next meta shift following the aforementioned, "Barina." If you thought what you saw in arena was bad, things are about to get much much worse. FP's potency in Colosseum was like nothing we've ever seen. Generally, colosseum requires thoughtful team building and decent knowledge of unit placement if you hope to be successful. Having your units leveled and kitted properly is important too. But when we add Future Princess to the equation, all these things essentially went out the window. One of colosseums mechanics is increasing the HP of all party members by 6 times. However, your party leader has their HP multiplied by double that. Put that kind of HP on a tank character that can heal, increase the casting speed of their ultimate skill, and can CC a large area with moderately high DPS, and you have a character that can solo team comps leagues ahead of what should normally be possible for Guardian Tales standards. FP was so flexible that you would see Future Princess Earth Teams, Future Princess Basic Teams, and even Future Princess in Water Teams with Witch Heart FP instead of her flagship weapon. This type of thing was typically never seen outside of boss raids, but for Future Princess, she simply works everywhere. Beach Sohee, Future Knight, Nari, Idol Eva. All Releases who have a type advantage over Future Princess could not drop her from holding that rank 1 position. Future Knight was made to be a direct counter to FP, as she has the ability to slow down weapon skill regen and even that didn't bring her down. However, after 9 months of utter tyranny, a character that would finally be a match for FP would release at the end of August. A hero with high durability, and a special trait that gave resistance to status ailments. A basic tank with decent attack that could counter any light unit. A polar opposite of FP. Kong Studios would finally release its long-awaited trademark character, "Legendary Hero Erina". Apart from MK.99's release, we would finally see FP drop ranks in arena, a total of 4 of them. Although FP still remained prominent in Colosseum holding her top 1 position, we finally had the staple answer for Future Princess in pvp. The release of Erina also marked the last time I would post character rankings, but be assured FP is picked significantly less in arena than what she used to be post-Erina launch. So much so, that Erina actually ended up taking the #1 spot for arena pick rates after FP's usurpation. If you want to see a video on how Erina ultimately ended up impacting the meta, be sure to show your support on this video and we'll turn this into a running series. I hope to have future videos a little more polished than what I did with this one. But, there's only so much you can do in terms of footage given Kakao published games aren't all that content creator friendly given the gacha trend. I hoped you liked the video regardless, and if you have any questions, like maybe what I said about Nari not being a solid matchup for FP. Don't get me wrong, she is a decent matchup, but as someone who used to be Rank 1 in Season 1 NA arena. As someone who's had 3 accounts in North America Top 100 at the same time, she's not exactly where she needed to be, to be considered a "counter" to Future Princess. And I personally think the fact that there even was a divide where we had 1 group of people saying she was a good counter, and one side that said, no she is a good counter. And the fact that Nari fell out of top 10 during FP's rain, should kinda point you towards the side, of she wasn't really a proper counter - otherwise, this argument, and the data, wouldn't have been what it was. (You don't hear people arguing Noxia isn't a good counter to Nari for example. Noxia definitely is a good counter to her and as such, we don't have that same divide.) The pre nerf world 10-11 was beatable, had the players just play or log in and do daily every single day, but noooo newbie players decided to bitch about it instead of asking themselves what's missing or wrong with their characters for them to not be able to beat the world.

Honestly, both debut were extremely hated. Kamael could solo every single content with no dmg problem, and FP was pretty much mandatory to have if you wanna have a fighting chance for other worlds, as well as dominate Colosseum due to her broken ass WS that could 1-chain enemies (ONLY FP and Lina have this in their kit, hence why they are broken in Colo) and pair it with the defensive capabilities she gives to her teammates, it’s too much.

Ranged teams with Lina, Rosetta, Gabriel, Kamael, MK99. Mono Dark, Dirt, Basic, Light, Fire. Summon Stall, Lina Kamael with HP and Def party buff. Hypercarry teams consisting Craig, FK, Veronica, Miya and DPSes like Beth, Parvati, Oghma Ranged. Yeah I think there's more but anything could work if you whale ❤😍

Erina is basically MC knight's predecessor, as a Champion and Legendary hero. The only person who could match her was Kaden.

I remember the days when it was all about your fp using her skill before the enemy fp and that basically decided the winner
Not as important now but she's still a go to for many colloseum teams, still is for me since i don't have anything better aside from maybe kamael but i absolutely despise the way his ai works with the ws cause you'd just end up losing fights you really shouldn't because he ends up hitting absolutely nothing with his skill

I'm sorry you had a difficult time understanding. I grew up with a REALLY bad speech impediment, to the point that it's surprising I'm able to talk how I do now. I'm working on enunciating my words better for future videos. In the meantime, here's the entire transcript for your convenience:
The World 10 season finale was the most anticipated release in Guardian Tales' history. With the first season coming to an end, along with the most coveted character becoming playable, the World 10 update would be the game's highest peaking trend 2nd to global launch.
However, this would end up being possibly the worst update for pvp since "Barina"; with Colosseum suffering the worst damage. Upon the arrival of Future Princess, players would immediately see an influx of light units dominating the meta with FP standing at the forefront patch after patch. But what was it about Future Princess that caused her to achieve results no other characters could since launch?
At first glance, FP doesn't have impressive stats outside of HP ranking 68, 9, 54, and 52. But, once we look at her kit, you'll find she has the ability to raise her and her party members' defense by 30% while taunting nearby enemies simultaneously.
She can also increase her movement speed, weapon skill regeneration, and the attack speed of her default attack by 20% for 2 seconds after hitting an opponent. Lastly, she's able to increase the HP of her and all her party members by 40% and increase her own skill Atk by 17%.
Common traits with heroes kits are increasing attack or defense by a set percentage upon receiving or delivering damage,
Future Princess has a plethora of other traits such as skill regeneration, movement speed, attack speed, and defense tuning all in one set. The only reliable way to prevent her from getting these benefits is to prevent her from hitting you in the first place. But, Guardian Tales isn't the most mechanically inclined game, and that will only get you so far as FP can perform leap attacks, shoot aoe projectiles, and can create a massive tempest that can stun in one cast if you build up too much injury.
FP's most prominent counter at the time was Nari, but unlike most counters in the arena, Nari was not a solid matchup due to how powerful FP's gimmicks were, and the ability to bring a 3rd character meant you could bring a dark unit to counter Nari and completely lose the opportunity altogether. Though there were other basic heroes that could maybe counter her, the problem of resource allocation still plagues Guardian Tales to this day. It simply wasn't efficient to blow hard-earned resources on less-than-subpar characters. And Nari just so happened to be an already meta pick at the time of FP's release.
As a result, the meta consisted of a rock-paper-scissors trifecta. Nari, to beat Future Princess, Beth to beat Nari, and Future Princess
to beat Beth. These 3 were all pivotal releases during their debut, and now they've come together to make the next meta shift following the aforementioned, "Barina."
If you thought what you saw in arena was bad, things are about to get much much worse. FP's potency in Colosseum was like nothing we've ever seen. Generally, colosseum requires thoughtful team building and decent knowledge of unit placement if you hope to be successful. Having your units leveled and kitted properly is important too. But when we add Future Princess to the
equation, all these things essentially went out the window.
One of colosseums mechanics is increasing the HP of all party members by 6 times. However, your party leader has their HP multiplied by double that. Put that kind of HP on a tank character that can heal, increase the casting speed of their ultimate skill, and can CC a large area with moderately high DPS, and you have a character that can solo team comps
leagues ahead of what should normally be possible for Guardian Tales standards.
FP was so flexible that you would see Future Princess Earth Teams, Future Princess Basic Teams, and even Future Princess in Water
Teams with Witch Heart FP instead of her flagship weapon. This type of thing was typically never seen outside of boss raids, but for
Future Princess, she simply works everywhere.
Beach Sohee, Future Knight, Nari, Idol Eva. All Releases who have a type advantage over Future Princess could not drop her from
holding that rank 1 position. Future Knight was made to be a direct counter to FP, as she has the ability to slow down weapon skill regen and even that didn't bring her down. However, after 9 months of utter tyranny, a character that would finally be a match for FP would release at the end of August.
A hero with high durability, and a special trait that gave resistance to status ailments. A basic tank with decent attack that could counter any light unit. A polar opposite of FP. Kong Studios would finally release its long-awaited trademark character, "Legendary Hero Erina". Apart from MK.99's release, we would finally see FP drop ranks in arena, a total of 4 of them. Although FP still remained prominent in Colosseum holding her top 1 position, we finally had the staple answer for Future Princess in pvp.
The release of Erina also marked the last time I would post character rankings, but be assured FP is picked significantly less in arena than what she used to be post-Erina launch. So much so, that Erina actually ended up taking the #1 spot for arena pick rates after FP's usurpation. one. But, there's only so much you can do in terms of footage given Kakao published games aren't all that content creator friendly given the gacha trend.

FP. Don't get me wrong, she is a decent matchup, but as someone who used to be Rank 1 in Season 1 NA arena. As someone who's had 3 accounts in North America Top 100 at the same time, she's not exactly where she needed to be, to be considered a "counter" to Future Princess. And I personally think the fact that there even was a divide where we had 1 group of people saying she was a good counter, and one side that said, no she is a good counter. And the fact that Nari fell out of top 10 during FP's rain, should kinda point you towards the side, of she wasn't really a proper counter - otherwise, this argument, and the data, wouldn't have been what it was. (You don't hear people arguing Noxia isn't a good counter to Nari for example. Noxia definitely is a good counter to her and as such, we don't have that same divide.) The pre nerf world 10-11 was beatable, had the players just play or log in and do daily every single day, but noooo newbie players decided to bitch about it instead of asking themselves what's missing or wrong with their characters for them to not be able to beat the world.

Honestly, both debut were extremely hated. Kamael could solo every single content with no dmg problem, and FP was pretty much mandatory to have if you wanna have a fighting chance for other worlds, as well as dominate Colosseum due to her broken ass WS that could 1-chain enemies (ONLY FP and Lina have this in their kit, hence why they are broken in Colo) and pair it with the defensive capabilities she gives to her teammates, it’s too much.
She's the definition of the meta hero like 2 years ago but now not that meta anymore and got replaced by Kai/rosseta on the present and this current day 😂

Meta in colo is all over the place nowadays. Meele teams with party members like Aisha, FP, Beth, Kai, Sohee, Craig, Lupina, Mei/Fei, Idol Eva, Valencia, Pymon Parvati. Ranged teams with Lina, Rosetta, Gabriel, Kamael, MK99. Mono Dark, Dirt, Basic, Light, Fire. Summon Stall, Lina Kamael with HP and Def party buff. Hypercarry teams consisting Craig, FK, Veronica, Miya and DPSes like Beth, Parvati, Oghma Ranged. Yeah I think there's more but anything could work if you whale ❤😍
