This video is my life right now. I don't mean just depression, but mental hospital it'self. I find it creepy how it's so perfectly exacuted. I'm only 13, but I've been battling depression my whole life. I just got out of the mental hospital. The place is hell on earth. But, in a way. It has peace to it. Like an escape from the world. But, being in there for to long makes you feel so alone. This video is beautiful. It depicts the pain of suffering from depression in a mental hospital perfectly.

Funny, I was a kid when I last watched this... and now 10 years later i still feel that uneasiness, discomfort and even a bit of fear. This is a fucking masterpiece. I don’t think any other song/music video makes me feel as much as this one does.
thats crazy because I watched this as a kid as well, (my mom showed it to me) and I felt the exact same as you. I recently found my moms old I pod and when i heard this song i remembered the video and the way my feelings about it, which was also sadness and fear. looking at this again, being older now, I think my feelings havent really changed much at all.

depression is a hard battle to over come and the ways some of the clinics do it these days arent helping. This video brings hope and shows exactly how people on the inside feel. thankyou angus julia.

This is so wonderful...I can feel it in my veins ..
I thought it was about drug addiction or being in a bad position in life but theres too many allusions to the matrix and its themes in the video. Its about living in a conditioned life and not pursuing the life that would really make you happy. Like working a 9-5 job every single day and just doing that the rest of your life and breaking out of that routine for something better.

My friend was put in an institution like this when he was 14. He really hasn't been the same since he came out. It's too bad they have to mess people up like this. Now he's turning to all kinds of awful drugs. This video totally illustrates how people can end up in situations like these.
