After your last episode I knit the Sampler baby blanket in Bernat Softee Baby and it took about 1.75 skeins and I added a section so that the blanket began and ended with th he same texture. I didn't feel like the proportions were right before I added the extra section. Thank you so much for the pattern suggestion. It was a quick knit, as I am a monogamous knitter, and is super cute. I get lots of pattern ideas from the three of you. Merry Christmas!

Sometimes it is hard to figure it out. And sometimes I don't even wear a homemade sweater. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen. Happy holidays
Hi ladies! Thanks for answering my question on the last video! I was really hoping you had a trick or two up your sleeves. I'll just have to find me some dk wt. yarn I think rather than holding the 2 together. Don't know why I'm having trouble since I completed my Ingrid slipover using the exact same yarn held double with no problems. Maybe I'll just have to knit that pattern again. Love your sweaters and all the knits you all are doing but Tammy those stockings are over the top gorgeous. I actually have one WIP - socks. Nothing else has peaked my interest so I've been taking a wee break. I have a lavender yarn slipover I want to start with drops brushed alpaca silk and a lace weight wool. Did my gauge so I just need to cast on. It's cold here in New Mexico and we got rain today - first moisture we've seen in months. But it sure makes it feel colder, only 47 for a high today. Burning fuel fast to keep warm. Plus wearing any wool I can... and you all want snow. lol I had my fill of snow living in WY most of my life. I don't think I could do it any more. The cold, 4x4's, snow blowers, boots, hats, etc. I'll pass. My sister lives in MT and lets me in on all the snow woes she has... hugs to you all and a very merry Christmas!

Morning here ladies early rising so great to watch along, too early for wine in middle England😂. Can I ask how you block when half way through a jumper like Claudia has please. My Felix cardigan has had many a frogging 😂 sorry that sounds rude having a titter to myself. Claudia not being bothered by strips differing has made me want to fetch my Tolsta jumper out of the naughty corner.seasons greetings to you all cheers bottoms up ❤
So blocking halfway through a sweater is no different than blocking after it's finished.I leave the cords and needles on, but add an extra cord so that it's not bunched up and soak it. I get out as much moisture as I can using towels, then lay it out flat with a fan going and let it dry. I sometimes feel the need to do that to make sure the fit is going to be right.
