There’s 2 books worth a read. Andy Roberts one and Russell Kellets is the other . For very different reasons . Sadly the Wayfarer is closed but I think it might give a good view of the location if ridden from Llandrillo

@@Saddlebags73 I’m partially ( very small involvement-very small) responsible for an effect in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade so my Hollywood talents were fully focused ahem …. There’s an Oscar in it I tell you. 😂😂😂😂
I was once told a 1st world war Chinese whisper from the trenches. Commanding officer shouted "send reinforcements we are going to advance" by the time it got along the trench to the HQ it was " send 3 and 4 pence we are going to a dance" Not sure of the truth in it though.
