    Update....
    I have started giving my pets raw chicken breast. I cut it up small because my dogs are tiny and elderly. My tiny 2lb teacup Chihuahua has been gaining some weight and has more energy than before. Thank you Dan for sharing your wisdom with all of us. God bless you today and everyday ❣️🦋💖

      Your welcome Chistina, great start with the chicken breast. Add some egg and canned sardines (in water) to the mix and a little part cooked and blended veg. And add these soil based probiotics to every meal: Probiotics - amzn.to/3yoURqU

    Do you have any videos about helping inflammation in senior dogs spine and arthritis? My companion dog has been losing his hind legs off and on since the vet had him on steroids

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  Год назад +3

      Theres this senior dog video: ruclips.net/video/66OUTToD8MQ/видео.html some good help there.
      This is about fresh food in the diet, no synthetics, especially steroids. So your dog needs quality proteins, very low carbs, a good probiotic and lots of exercise, walking first, later slow jogging.
      If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better but not essential.
      If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
      Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables and freeze dried greens.
      Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/UTI's/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
      If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
      Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
      By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
      Some must do's:
      Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination)
      If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i
      Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, arthritis, poor gut health and later, cancer) No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!)
      Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
      NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..
      Also for arthritis:
      Astaxanthin is apowerful antioxidant: amzn.to/3Yx9Z10
      Turmeric, containing curcumin, is a powerful anti inflammatory: amzn.to/3IVUVUX
      Turmeric Organic Powder: amzn.to/3xgEtcu (1/8 to 1/4 tsp per day for every 10 pounds of body weigh)

      @DanScott1  Год назад

      Yes, they are very good options. Focus also on fresh food in the diet and stopping any vet drugs and especially vaxx.
      I also recommend CBD oil. CBD's anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties may be able to reduce risk factors that can lead to heart disease, like high blood pressure. It may also be able to reduce the risk of related conditions, like stroke: healthydogforlife.com/CBD
      Combined with a fresh food diet, they work really well.

    Hi Dan, I highly respect you and the love that you have for animals and I’m hoping to get your opinion on what you might recommend for my dog who got a serious looking chemical burn on her underside, belly chest and paws after our morning walk (we are in Northern Maine) and I didn’t see how red she was until early afternoon. I had used a wash cloth to clean her up after the walk as we always do but today was different. Could be after the rain it became more potent? She was immediately put in the shower and washed down thoroughly. Put organic coconut oil on her and put ice packs as best I could in the hottest spots. Called the vets but they wanted to put her on meds and couldn’t give any info over the phone. Read lots online but no definitive answer. Would very much appreciate your take on something like this. Thank you so much. 🙏🏼
    ps the salt/sand brine de-icer mix they use on the roads here is a mix of sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium acetate and potassium acetate but will call the town office when they open in the morning to confirm.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  2 года назад +1

      Reads like some reaction to the chemicals on her skin. What you did is good and your right not to want vet drugs. I can only advise to stay away from this as much as possible. i don't have a treatment other than to wash down the affected areas as you have.
      Let me know if there's any developments.

      @@DanScott1 Hi Dan, thank you so much for your reply and support, much appreciated! She seems better this morning and the redness is much less than last night but she is sensitive to touch in those areas. I have reapplied coconut oil and will be keeping her inside and will use pee pads for the time being.
      The salt mixture is highly caustic and not good for animals or the environment and I have a feeling that after the heavy rains and getting churned up, it may have activated it in some other way as it’s meant for snow and ice.
      She is taking the prebiotics that you recommended and some Chinese herbs; I also gave her some animal aspirin to manage any pain. She is asleep and under her covers now. Thank you again for all you do and always engaging and helping all of us! ❤️

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  5 месяцев назад +1

      I like to give a breather from all supplements here and there for several weeks. Depends on your dogs needs what you would use so I'll discuss them below..
      Here's the text about those 4 supplements in the video:
      Focusing on these four, you can cut back on environmental toxins from air, water, the ground and diet while supporting your dogs liver, kidneys, skin and digestive system.
      Number 1 is Milk Thistle: shrsl.com/3uv2e to flush toxins out of your dogs body
      Milk Thistle is a proven liver rejuvenator with the active ingredient silymarin, promoted for dogs as highly beneficial for liver and kidney damage.
      The recommended tincture extract of milk thistle contains 70 to 80% silymarin and should be labeled. Give the tincture starting dose of 1/4 tsp. per 20lbs of your dogs lean body weight per day divided by two daily doses. You can also get it in powdered capsule form.
      Number 2 is Beta Glucan: amzn.to/3CLiI6y the world's best immune system support!
      Nothing does more to boost your dogs immune system than this extract of oats, barley, yeast, or mushrooms. It's a must have aid to restoring, boosting and protecting your dogs immune system to disease.
      If you buy 100mg capsules, then open up the capsule and pour out half onto dog food at 50mg for small dogs and the whole 100mg for larger dogs, and do this daily.
      Number 3 is probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU
      When you add probiotics to your dogs diet, they'll help repopulate your dogs intestine with new healthy bacteria.
      So giving your dog probiotics will restore the good bacteria population and prevent yeast infections.
      Dogs with itchy skin, hotspots, ear infections, dander, strong body odor and excessive paw licking will benefit greatly within a week or two of taking probiotics. And I'll leave a link in the description above.
      Fourth is Slippery Elm: amzn.to/3CbHXx0 the wonder herb for soothing your dogs entire digestive system.
      Let me introduce natures wonder herb, Slippery Elm, used to soothe the entire gastrointestinal system of your dog and absorb toxins for leaky gut, stomach problems, IBD, pancreatitis, diarrhea, respiratory ailments, kennel cough and urinary problems.
      Use the powder form, it's more economical and easier to sprinkle on food as dogs seem to like it and it's completely safe. Wonderful for cats too.
      Give 1/8 tsp for small dogs, twice daily
      Give 1/4 tsp for medium dogs, twice daily
      And give 1/2 tsp for large dogs, twice daily
      And I'll leave a link in the description below and at the link above.
      And Number 5 is diet: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/
      Feeding your dog a healthier diet is key to less oxidative stress, pesticide intake and reducing chronic ill health.

    Hello Dan, Thankyou for all this information and it proves you love animals and it's not about money. I have a question regarding bad breath in my 15 yr of pomeranian/cairn terrier. His teeth seem to be ok but he has shocking breath, so I am wondering if slippery elm will help. He eats a very good diet of veges and meat, sardines, chicken wings and a few dog biscuits.
    And I have recently added a quarter of a teaspoon of bentonite clay to his food. Could take time for that to work as I have only given it to him 4 times as I keep forgetting. I'd appreciate any suggestions. He drinks a whole lot and often, he poops alot but in very good condition otherwise. Never needs to go to the vet for anything and has always been healthy. Fresh food in the diet at 50% of meal volume. So whatever you feed cut in half and replaced with eggs, meats, canned sardines, part cooked and blended veggies and lots of antioxidants for detox: amzn.to/3R1m3HR
      1/4 scoop smaller dog, 1/3 scoop medium dog and 1/2 scoop bigger dog.
      Also add soil based probiotics to one meal daily: amzn.to/3yoURqU

      @@Spyglass2024 I could write a paper on that!
      Vet drugs are synthetic mostly and they work on the symptom, not the underlying cause. Synthetics have side effects as they are not natural and don't work synergystically with the body, just act on the symptom. This leads to complications as the body tries to figure work-arounds but can't as the synthetic is largely un-recognised. Not only that but it drives the underlying health issue deeper into the body, making it worse over time. Sometimes the body expells synthetics via skin. urine, sweat etc and other times it's stored in fat reserves under the skin or around organs which leads to further toxicity. As you can see, it's a vicious cycle. This is why I advocate natural remedies, suppllemnts and foods.
      Western medicine works on sickness not health, a fundamental difference and way more profitable once people/animals start the sickness merry-go-round.
      This isn't about prevention, it's about the gravy train and I'm not on that train and advise you get off too.

      You run it by giving drops once daily for 14 days, stop 7 days, then go again for 14 days and finished. If your runing it for prevention, do this once yearly on minimal dose.
      Back off dose 50% if upset ie diarrhea and if still present stop dose. Dose is weight dependant... your dogs weight?

    Do you have any complaints about canned food? I got my boy when he was three; he will only eat wet.
    Is everything you say here the same for canned. I am on a limited income and already spend more money on his food than I do on me, so canned is the best I get him. I feed him Evangers weight control because my roommate was feeding him whatever is the best croissant sandwich Burger King sells (he works there). Every. Single. Day. The same thing that happens to people: He got fat (heʼs a Yorkie) who doubled his weight-we didn’t notice until he got his summer cut.
    Can you please do a video on canned food.

      @DanScott1  Год назад

      Canned is better than dry and better than BK lol. I would split the meal in half and add some raw eggs, canned sardines and some freeze dried greens, then your dogs much better off. So split the meal in half and add 1 raw egg, 1 sardines from the can and a half tsp of the greens: amzn.to/3cOgzLu
      Greens not so cheap but will last a long time and super healthy ( I use tham).
      So the canned food goes further but you'll need the extra foods, so a bit more on the budget.
      NO vaxx, drugs and low carbs BK = bad!

    Hi there Dr Dan Scott, here from SA, I came across ur utube as was looking for a detox for my dog to basically restart his system as we do too. As am hoping it helps with him. He recently 2 weeks ago had his spleen removed as found a mass, the mass is inconclusive. The stress that's been on him seems to have triggered other symptoms amd now we doing a test for cushings. So would like to know if still safe to do this detox, we don't really have Amazon here but will look for organic products as u have listed. Thanks appreciate if u can get back to me, I've always believed in more natural methods. Thanku for the video and have subscribed, saw ur video too now of vaccinations, I don't do it every year or 3 as they say and now wish I didn't a year and half ago but did as last he had shots was 2013/2014. Will not be doing anymore vaccinations going forward. Thanku for this always wondered if these are actually good for our pets. Thanks again

      Yes they should be fine. Just focus on fresh food in the diet, lots of quality proteins like eggs, meats, green tripe, sardines, 20% meal volume of organs ie liver also great and healing. And low carbohydrates.

      And raw is better than cooked so introduce slowly but transition to a more raw diet.

      Vets are not nutritionists. The entire western medical setup does NOT include nutrition for healing as weird as that sounds.. it's all about waiting for you to be sick then treaing lifelong with drugs. It's a business for profit model.

I took my dog to the vet for pyometra and they recommended a $6k surgery on her weak fragile little body or they suggested I put her to sleep right away. I found one simple recipe online and gave that to her and she recovered within a week. I'm sure the vet knew about this regimen but they only gave me two options and made sure to let me know my back was against the wall.

      @DanScott1  Год назад

      I understand. That vet diet is useless. The dog now needs a fresh food diet and here's some information:
      If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
      If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
      Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
      Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
      For the liver specifically: Liver Love Kit - Dandelion, Milk Thistle and SPARK: amzn.to/3WoRNWQ (Share a sale link:) shrsl.com/3uux0
      Support your pet’s liver, digestion, and overall health with three herbal and nutritious products:
      Supports a healthy liver
      Helps gassy, sluggish digestion
      Assists with liver detoxification
      Supplies pre/probiotics, amino acids, protein, and healthy greens.
