When you can get folks like my wife's and my age watching and our Grandchildren enjoying your show, You got something good going on. Thank you so much for making and putting up these videos. Have a great day : )
I enjoyed those hay-making videos. The one with the rocket launch audio had me laughing. They were very well done and a creative way to show repeat content in a new way.
When you talked about the smell of the Honeysuckle and then the hay in the barn, you brought some fine memories back of those sweet smells from many years ago.
I'm 72 and grew up on a farm in Iowa. Your videos are a real joy. Helped put up hay in the summer, helped harvest soy beans and corn in the fall, plowed, planted, cultivated, milked cows, feed beef and hog and bucket fed new calves. Your vids bring that all back. Great memories. Thanks
I don't know anything about farming, never wanted to be a farmer, don't even like visiting farms, yet I'm hooked on your videos, watch every one and can't wait to see what's next. Some things just defy logic.
Good morning Pete another awesome video thanks for all you do, and thanks for providing all your produce I feel the world doesn’t respect the farmer enough these days! Good on you
I enjoy the switching up of how you do the videos and the content of them. Seeing the machinery at work is poetry in motion until there is the occasional breakdown. Keeping records of what you are doing is definitely the way to go. Experimenting is a great way to see what works and what works even better.
My father spent a lot of his farming life, cows, hay and peanuts, experimenting with different ways of doing things. In my opinion that is how you learn what works best. Love watching you farm, keep doing what you do.
Pete by far your channel is the best thing to watch on RUclips I love your positive attitude I especially love your dad jokes I feel like I’m part of the family and feel emotionally invested with your cows and your chickens and pigs may God bless you and your family I pray that you will be able to continue to make a great living doing what you love … God bless!! Thank you for the continued hard work in bringing these videos to us I know that cannot be an easy thing to position the cameras to do such a high-quality video that you do I hope you will continue to do so for a very long time thank you
I have learned a great deal from your videos. This is actually my goal hopefully within a few more years and the knowledge you put out in your videos is simple fantastic. And I thank you sir because this is a fantastic platform for those wanting to be self sufficient for themselves, their families and their community. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Pete I greatly appreciate all you do sir.
Very interesting. The experiment continues. What is Patty's (the head dexter) opinion of how the reseach is being conducted? I know she is very vocal when conditions are substandard to her expectations. 😊
Hello from Minnesota. Been watching your videos for a while now, love the variety from farmers market to chores to mechanics and especially to haying. Keep it up.
My husband & I love your videos! 💕 Keep doing what you enjoy; don't let the haters ruin your system. Your videos are both entertaining and informational at the same time. We love your experiments and your Dad jokes! Bless you and your family.
Hey Pete I've been a subscriber for almost two years from the very early days of your channel. Your farm has grown alot and you got so much more equipment than when you first started . I know it's a busy time of year but I thought maybe you could do a video on all the tractors you have amassed . And even the ones you don't show or talk about I think I seen a cub in the barn a few times and you have 1-2 sitting in the weeds I think ones an F20 you said about in a video a long time ago . I think it would be really cool to do a video dedicated to your tractor collection
I definitely loved your artistic expression via the last few videos. Any time we can experience more of your wonderful personality via your videos is a great time. Good luck with calving season!
Pete the more I watch you the more I conclude that you are a... Master mechanic ,a Scientist ,a Philosopher and a wonder Manager of your domain, You're a marketing superstar and farming in particular .but you're the worst Comedian who is also a farmer! I bet you're the best neighbour and A guy I'd really like to meet someday. Oh yeah I forgot to say you're also a brilliant film maker . So than's Pete for just being you. Cheers from New Brunswick Canada
I wish I could watch you all day. So much information and excitement. I miss the farmer's market, but looking forward to next video. I literally stop what I am doing when I see you have posted a new one. Thank you
Appreciate your videos and your daily routines there on the farm. I was curious with the cattle being in the tall grass if ticks are a concern or issue. Hope the weekend goes well for you folks!!!
All your commentary about your farm plans is really quite a study in the subject. I'm not a farmer but the considerations for a farm like yours is so interesting.
Good to see little Miss Peanut bounced back strong, and out enjoying life with her aunts and cousins. Those flies do be nasty. Ack!! I wish we were getting that nice weather here in Seattle. It just keeps raining this year.
What a corker, lol. Your dad jokes always make me lol.!! Taking it s . l . o . w, huh? Also, the hay-making blogs are great. And so peaceful. Thanks, Pete. Great stuff.
Loved your haying videos, but like every video you do. Keep doing what you are doing! I look forward to seeing you And hearing about everything you do. Thank you!
I like the videos where you try diffrent things like the one with Hilary and the chicken tarp. Farm life is very repetitive you keep it fresh and knowing you enjoy it makes it better.
We never daily moved, mob grazed. We had set pastures and rotated. When they had mostly grazed off an area, we moved them to the next area. 5-10 acres at a time and about a week on each. By September we were running out of good pasture because we dry up in August. That was our only struggle and I don't think daily moving would help that. At times we would move them into the wooded area in August anyway, the cattle had access to shade. The cattle seemed to really appreciate the shade during our August heat which was typically stressful and they slowed down or almost did not gain weight without heat relief.
My childhood home had a Nat problem , the whole neighborhood did , Im happy those traps work well. I can understand how the cows must be miserable dealing with the flys constantly buzzing and biting .
We use to do a daily mob graze, but after a lot of issues with electric fencing and water source access, we went to pasture rotations. By the way, I like the hay video's, less narration isn't a problem for me, I liked it. Your hay looks good and green, I just did a few, (42), square bales for my barn, that smells good, like yours. Great video Pete, loved it, I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, thanks!
I loved this. Video. Who say you don't have a sense of humor. Me , my husband, and our 2 oldest son's watch them together or I share. My younger ones love the pigs and the cows. But all my great as well as grandfather's raised hogs, even my father. I'm used to hogs, pigs. But I like cows too. But I really love my horse 🐴. It's good to laugh. I'm behind too. Had charge my phone. So this was the first video of the day. We love your videos. Can't wait to see the pigs. Vee and family.👍✌️🙂👋.
Just a simple thank you for all the education you have provided. I have not seen one vid that I did not learn from nor feel inspired by. Please keep helping us for as long as you can or more importantly as long as you enjoy. You are special.
I've used the jar traps for years and only use wiener meat in them. When I empty them I leave a skim layer of dead flies in the bottom and don't bother to rinse them. Just refill with water. It's like a starter and within the same day they're trapping flies. In Canada the attractant is more than the trap so this is way cheaper for us.
Nice video. See what works for one person might not for another but it’s always good too know what’s going on for other”farmers”….hoof patrol, fly , pink eye.😉🤗
don't sell yourself short on your viewers interest in the haying Videos, we couldn't wait to see the number of bales, the weather and the equipment holding up. we enjoy ALL videos
"....it's an experiment ...." Yes! Isn't life that (an' more...) "Specially "down on the farm!" If nothing else, you're "saving" on time and another chore associated with close rotational grazing. Here, (Fl. Panhandle) Herford's are most susceptible breed to "pink-eye." Always good to join you an your'n at your place.
That’s right Pete! If you’re happy that’s all they matters. I like listening to what you have to say! Kinda like…when EF Hutton speaks….everybody listens! lol I love your jokes! At first I didn’t realize the speed bump joke wasn’t a joke! Lol
Your speed bump joke was funny, it made me laugh and tyvm ;-) Always nice to see you do your videos, sharing your experiences, your animals, the farm, Hillary and you roasting of pork meat, beef etc. Keep having fun and enjoying ourselves.
I loved the hay videos. There is no greater joy than to watch someone else work rolling in a circle while cutting grass while I take a nap. I have an idea, there are sleep videos with rain and thunder and windy blizzard snowstorms. You could do cuttin hay NAP TIME videos for seniors. I'd buy one!!!!!! You'll be rich. ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL.
The haying videos were brilliantly simple. I liked them alot.
Pete, I just love how you treat the cows like family.
It's so good to see Peanut healthy again & growing, happy with the herd. I like her color.
When you talked about the smell of the Honeysuckle and then the hay in the barn, you brought some fine memories back of those sweet smells from many years ago.
Your dexters are so gentle compared to other breeds. It’s interesting watching you interact with them. Their personalities are entertaining.
"Fear of speed bumps." "A bumpy ride." Is that "Dad humor or farmer humor or Pete humor? Love you and the farm whatever the answer!
I am a farmer in south Ireland and I have to say your stock is in lovely condition! Well done!
Thanks
So glad that you are slowly getting over your fear of speed bumps, Pete. Thanks for the laugh (and for a great video as always)!🤣
Watching this is a joy and it makes me happy and relaxed and forget about the negative things happening nowadays, Pete, thanks for that.
I don't know anything about farming, never wanted to be a farmer, don't even like visiting farms, yet I'm hooked on your videos, watch every one and can't wait to see what's next. Some things just defy logic.

Glad to hear you're getting over that fear; I have the same fear of potholes, and in ill-a-noise we have A-lot..👍👍💚🕊

I totally Love your "Dad Jokes" !!! Please don't ever stop! :-)
I always find your information so interesting and calming. The beautiful green fields and animals are happy. 😊🌻
I LOVE the haying videos, and I kind of miss the deep philosophical rants from when the channel was young.
Thanks Pete always look forward to your videos and so do my 2 year old grandson he loves the cows and pigs. keep up the good work!
Hello from Siesta Key
The movie. The Fly
The hay always smells better before going into the cows than coming out. lol🐮
I really enjoyed the haying videos. Something about those old tractors working I really enjoy. Thanks for another great video.
Good to see little Miss Peanut bounced back strong, and out enjoying life with her aunts and cousins. Those flies do be nasty. Ack!! I wish we were getting that nice weather here in Seattle. It just keeps raining this year.

Yep, I agree...that is definitely a MAJESTIC pile of hay!! Good stuff Pete. 👍🏻😃
Love watching you work. I save your video to watch after work and just relax and mellow out . I like your hay videos by the way to.
I used to sit for hours after doing chores watching them eat. It was a good way to relax after a hard day of haying, square bales, ugh. Lol
We use to do a daily mob graze, but after a lot of issues with electric fencing and water source access, we went to pasture rotations. Pete keep making whatever videos you want !!! I know I'll be watching !!! I'm sure I won't be the only one 👍👍

The height of that grass is amazing. Always very interesting videos. Thanks Pete.
Great video again Pete. I find these not only entertaining, frankly, but very informative. Love it.
I’ve really enjoyed the latest round of haying videos

Great informative Vlog Pete...
GBY BOTH ALWAYS 🙏❤️💙🤗✝️
Love the sound of cattle on fresh pasture, reminds me of growing up at home!
I've used the jar traps for years and only use wiener meat in them. When I empty them I leave a skim layer of dead flies in the bottom and don't bother to rinse them. Just refill with water. Love the smell of fresh mown hay..

We move our cows about 4 times a year into different big pastures. Never have tried the intensive grazing method
Thanks to people like you who help feed the nation. Keep up the great work. Some of your jokes are a bit sick but they do make me chuckle.
