Casuals and haters be using these 2 losses against Izzy forever. I hope Izzy avenge this in the UFC and make every hater including the other fighters watch these 2 fights before they comment shit over and over again. Now I also understand why he said the mma/pillow gloves thing... He's never been a power guy like Pereira, but mma gloves will be enough and other than power he's levels above him + now it's freaking mma not kickboxing anymore. For me, Izzy was clearly the greater striker, but got caught in this fight (by someone famously known to have an "iron fist" and crazy scary power), that's it. It’s not like izzy was winning until he lost like he said at the presser, imo he actually lost round one but almost kod alex in round 2 I gave both a round on my scorecard. But one terrifying thing is how quick alex recovered from being rocked in round 2, he literally came wild in 3rd round and started putting pressure on Israel and perfectly placed left hook did the job. And all of his fights, especially towards the beginning of the fight, Israel stands at the end of kicking range; even in MMA (unlike alot of MMA fighters who stand just outside the pocket). This is because in order to hit him you must move to him, like Bruce Lee said, and he can probe at you with long range attacks, like kneestomps.
However, in this fight he was in close, using a lot of punches; which puts him out of much closer range than he normally fights.
