Creeping Death has the best produced Death Metal record of 2019. It sounds *stellar*
@Perpetual Havoc I have not only listened to Blood Incantation but I've seen them live with Necrot, Morbid Angel, and Immolation. Blood Incantation might have a more "original" sound but as far as the fidelity of their recording go, Creeping Death has a much better produced record. Every instrument (including the bass!!!) Is pretty clear in the mix. Blood Incantation's mixes are very muddy and have a Scott Burns quality to them (that I am almost positive is purposeful). If you listen to both records from a decent set of monitors it becomes quite clear that Creeping Death have higher fidelity recordings.

Creeping Death just made a huge fan. I love the direction that the Banger team has taken on important social issues. Pay day is coming and I’ll be putting my money where my heart is.

"Defund," does NOT mean abolish and do not fund, it means reallocation of a portion of the funding to mental health professionals, educational and occupational training, drug treatment and rehabilitation, conflict de-escalation training, instead of armored tank track vehicles, military gear for civilian law enforcement, etc. I am good friends with many law enforcement officers and ALL of them would MUCH rather have mental health professionals to deal wit non-violent, mental health or domestic situations, which is not typically a police matter, and is a waste of police resources.
Great interview. I’m black and passionate about Metal music because it’s been an important my life for about 15 years now. But I would have liked is the point about metal being a safe haven for white supremacy to be elaborated upon. When live shows in London, United Kingdom 🇬🇧 (that’s where I live) we’re still a thing, you slowly started to see the ethnic demographic of the crowd start to change which is a major positive for Metal to show the world that it’s not just a white guy thing🤘

Texas Metal also had a strong underground thrash metal scene. With Devastation, Watch Tower, Rigor Mortis, Rotting Corpse, X.I.L, and Mace! San Antonio till this day is the Heavy Metal Capitol of the world!
I saw them on the Power Trip and High on Fire tour, great band 🤘🏻

Thanks guys for bringing the conversation in such a difficult moment , im so glad to heard of bands that are more multiracial , often i wander why we don't have more bands like ex. Living Colours , Sepultura , Herrumbre , EZO , Angra , ( too many to list ) we have a big problem with systemic rascism and in my opinion ( that don't have a place in Metal ) or shouldn't have at all .
Hell yeah, go OSU. Was hoping to learn about his guitar tone/gear.
When the new album comes out we'll do this again and get nerdy about tones & gear. :)

it's really my wish that the world would get along more if we all would coexist peacefully as Humans and not some divided mass of races,
so our people would've developed better and we might have a cleaner planet for that matter.
though I hate of fighting and conflicts but I completely stand against Racism and Discrimination in general even when I'm wearing Metal T's and gears.
I get constantly looked down upon because of my autism but Metal gave me the encouragement and strength to be myself and feel accepted.

Funny I wasn't a big DM guy in the old days( except Entombed) and have been schooled and shootin' so much cool stuff DM adjacent, Tomb Mould, Powertrip this crusher from CD. It makes sense to me coming from The punk/ hardcore thing. I dunno what touring , destroyed by Covid, would be like if you chucked These guys. , Code Orange, Midnight, Goatwhore, on a bill. That was a great conversation about BLM and the ongoing injustice. I love Metal and never care who is playing the music. As long as I can connect to the music color, race or creed don't matter to me.
I challenge both of you to go walk around in Gulf Port Mississippi at night. I spent 27 yrs in the USN and I have a lot of good friends that are African American. You would not survive the night. This is a cultural thing. An educational thing. Education is crap in the south. White people have legitimate cause for concern. You as a Black Man have a legitimate cause for concern. Do not just sit in your glass house, go and see for yourself. I love your music by the way.

I think more black people should be forced to stop rapping about their genitals and bling and play metal, in order to balance out the lack of black people in metal.
