If this was installed with a Viessmann HP, would the mixing valve reduce the effective system volume so that a buffer cylinder would be required? Am I right in assuming this is being used as you have two zones with differing flow temperature requirements and this enables the UFH zone to run at a lower temp?
Couldn't see it full size. Woukd like t It to be a bit longer. Cos couldnt make it all out properly prob cos video so small. Could see throttle valve on the CCT but couldnt make out mixer valve properly. Prob just me being thick tho.

Depends how different the flow temps are... if a heat pump they are more likely to be similar. A blending valve will have the same effect anyway.
