I could not breathe so I was rushed to a teaching hospital by ambulance. I had a battle with clots. A pulmonary embolism put me in cardiac arrest. I died. They were able to continue working on me for two and a half hours. I'm alive now because they did that. They actually got me back. They said it was a miracle. I am so thankful to the residents, nurses and doctors that saved me at St Joseph's. 🙏
im actually admitted at kaiser currently because of this... I'm 41 yo male that lives a healthy life. I run, routinely, weight lift moderately, & eat healthy. this was a complete surprise. never had any serious health problems before. I have a wife & two small children im blessed to have the chance to come home (today I hope) and see them. I am Thankful for the great care here.

@@rahul-qm9fi spent 7 days in the cardiac icu. The treatment is going on and the drugs will continue for life. Not a good situation, dont have much time. I really dont wish that this happens to anybody else. Because honestly, it sucks

I was pretty dismissive about the whole thing initially because I wasn't aware of the seriousness but soo grateful they caught it & was able to administer Heparin IV for a few days before I was released with heavy RX of anticoagulants. On the road to recovery now but still pretty rattled from the suddenness of the experience.

Can it be removed? With so much technology and small robotics ,im surprised theres no cure and people still have breathing problems after leaving the hospital

Thats what happened to me, doctors initially thought I have stones or something, my cousin is a owmer of medical testing facility. So he had my whole body examed. Results were promising, kidneys, pamcreas, liver, heart were all more than fine, they were perfect (even though Im an alcoholic!) But things took a turn when I had my first ct scan. I had complete blockage in the pulmonary arteries of my left lung. Rushed to the doctor, he told me that if I was a few days late, i would have been dead. The moral of the story is, this happened to me because my father had it and he died because of it. Doctor told me that if one of the parent has this its a 90% chance that the child will be affected.

This is scary I got Covid back in 2021 and since than have had shortness of breath non stop it’s scary.

I’m 27 and got blood clots in both my lungs. So much pain breathing. They think it’s from my birth control. No clots in my legs
