Those were the days weren't they? I remember whilst my mom drove me to school her black stallion I would crank up the music on the wooden strereo and listen to all the popular songs the cool kids listened too. In spite of all the wars, the 1100's was a great time to be alive.

The painting is truly fascinating. He seems to be a monk transcribing a book. With very little room, he must put the book on top of the book he's transcribing. As has been mentioned, the pile of books over the fireplace (with small fire lit?) could be properly arranged on the shelf, but he is clearly too busy and dedicated to worry about organizing. And as has been noted, it's quite the little corner, it would be hard to get in there (climb under?). But it's all very cozy - he is comfortable and focused and will work for many hours straight. Not even a drink nearby, he couldn't be bothered (or maybe, as a monk, he is denying himself of such things). It's really a terrific, evocative painting. So my main question is - what is this painting called and who painted it? Anyone know?

@@lucianoastudillohenriquez2866 could be a painting. Paintings are photos by hand. Enlighten yourself Bro
@@stevenstandridge2723 but that's literally a photo. I mean someone set the scene up and took an actual real life picture with a camera. This isn't a drawing it's just an actual real life photo lol (fck im gonna get wooshed)
This music is enchanting. It speaks of simpler times and lives. Life in those times was very hard for many, but they didn't know any different.
To anyone who sees this comment, may the lord bless you and thy soul will be at peace.
Thank you 💗

May the Lord do the same for you.
Thanks
It’s amazing how much even just the sound of the surf soothes anxiety and contributes to a more peaceful feeling inside. I play this while at work. Even though I can’t view the scenery while working, it still calming and takes my mind to a beautiful beach somewhere. Thank you.
This gave me a nostalgic feeling that hasn't happened
It is your ancestral memory
could be from a past life :)
@@sonolumiecho im not really sure im southeast asian
wait i swear i had a pastlife in the medieval times. i guess my soul hasnt really left europe often. I feel like im an old soul.
Yes I had
I used to drink skooma, fight with giants, dance with elves, drink mead with dwarves, walk on the grasslands as the freest wolf in this kingdom, until I took an arrow in the knee.
I was walking along with my fellow travelers, until we found a lost cat, he looks of brown, white, black, and a dash of red mixed with some blue, maybe this is from a witchcraft project? Anyone lost this cat?
Yeah right
@@rusiimani246 ?

In the year of 1024s is the year of the beautiful era with those beautiful and countless sleepless nights that I've experienced since being born in this world is really has a nice feeling in it.
Ah how I feel at home listening to this. You ever get the feeling that time has played a cruel joke on your very soul? I feel like I should be back at my cottage on my little farm after a hard day's work in the fields.
👍
Me, too. I feel like I was born in the wrong time.
This music got me through my final semester of college in Fall 2020 at the height of lockdown. It was especially helpful for my two hardest classes, Organic Chemistry & Lab for Environmental Analysis.
The banger is mightier than the deadline
When this was originally uploaded it got demonitized for promoting witchcraft.
Shhahhahahahaha
@Apollo The Wolf Well people can use it for evil, most do and as a Christian we arent supposed to use it to solve our problems. But glad to see your not using it to sacrifice babies to satan😂
you mean they put demons in the music?
@J3KB0T It’s a joke, the music is fine.
@Apollo The Wolf into the fire you go
as a person from the medieval times, it brings me so much joy to see that people still enjoy this music
This is so good. I played this while reading fantasy books.
I play this while writing.
Game of Thrones?
Indigo series by Louise Cooper, my favorite fantasy books to read. And I listen to this while reading. :)

Just close your eyes, and imagine riding a horse through the endless valleys.
In those days it was definitely more eco friendly.
As a fantasy massive fan I need to say that music from medieval times has something magical inside which is doing something weird to me, like creating a strong sentiment inside me, feeling that I want to belong to a fantasy world and forget about everything else. Well, I think it's time to play Heroes Might and Magic lol
makes you homesick for a place that never even existed
Ikr, i get the same feeling when i think about dinosaurs. Theres something strangely beautiful about the thought of the past.
Only 1300s kids remember, anyone else remembering their childhood atm?
In a late rainy afternoon I soak my feet in warm water after a hard day work while listening to this. There is a cup of hot matcha tea beside me. The calm feeling is undescribable. In the end I fell asleep and forget my tea.
used to listen to this whenever another one of my siblings died from the plague...kids these days could never understand
I had to illustrate a short story book set in the middle ages, then I found this. I don't usually comment but this is the first time I finished a 10-hour long playlist. Sooo good, really got me immersed in the setting of those times.
I write all of my homework with this music playing, it's beautiful
Me too
It is very beautiful indeed Bill Rock.
@Depressed Squirrel They doth!
And i am correcting my pupils exams and classtests with this music in my ear. greetings from Hamburg, Germany
