Which brand HMI do you want to connect to CP2E via Ethernet? Please be aware that CP2E Built-in Ethernet is FINS protocol, so if you want to use other brands HMI like Redlion or others, you need to make sure they have FINS Ethernet driver, As far as I know, you can definitely use like Redlion or proface HMI to communicate to CP2E. CP2E Ethernet can also be set as Modbus TCP server, so you are able to use Modbus TCP to connect to other brand sensor/servo/VSD via Modbus TCP.
Unfortunate you can't do it. NB designer only supports to simulate the HMI itself program, does not support to simulate between PLC & HMI. Omron NA HMI supports it.
Thank You! This video cleared up a few problems I have been experiencing.
Very nice performance sir
If "communication timeout", when download in tools HMI, please help me Sir 🙏🏼
Great Video and useful info
Very helpful video
please make a video for CJ1M cpu11 ETN with NS series HMI
hi sir. did you ever do it using others brand hmi?
and cp2e communicate with others brand sensor/amplifier/io terminal using ethernet?

Is it possible to simulate and check communication using only a cp2e plc and a leptop pc (nb designer) without using NB HMI hardware?

thank you so much
