I use the 8ft acc super grip because it's the only acc rod I have but I do like it.
In texas we don't even have a limit on bluegill or sunfish because they are rarely fished for or kept plus they multiply quickly I assume where yall are at its much different.
Most of these giants are catch and release to keep the genetics going
