Very inspiring video , I started my health journey over a year ago . I cut dairy and eggs completely out of my diet and started drinking half my body weight of water a day and have lost over a 100 pds I just gotta really start pushing myself to hit the gym more . I’m going to try 3 days at gym 1 day of yoga
I just started eating Keto-based foods, because burning fat sounded better for me than eating carbs and burning them, which didn't work for me, so I'm happy that you said, starting a new health journey doesn't always need to start January 1st! The start date for the best motivation/results, should be when we are Mentally ready! I love that you also mentioned God! I cannot start my day without morning scripture and prayer...this has brought me closer to God, therefore given me direction in my life, because I feel his inner voice directing me, and amazing peace and joy!
I need this right now! I’ve just gone back to the gym after months of doing nothing. Working out helps my mental health so much and I just need to be consistent and get out of the rut I have been in.
Im doing the same thing with a friend of mine. It’s important to set guidelines that are challenging but attainable. 75 hard is how I already live so I’m actually just trying to give myself a little grace if my body,mind, soul is asking for something different on a given day.
I have been sick since Thanksgiving, we had Covid, Upper Respiratory Infection and then Influenza A and have not been to the gym. I need to get back to exercising and lifting weights. I don’t life heavy but I do enjoy it.
I absolutely love you ❤ I am already trying to do something about my health but this just made so much more sense for me because my mental health is my #1 priority! I wish we could do a Bible study or just like a get together to talk about God! I wish I knew more people who wanted to do this! I've been watching church online for almost 2 years and I always feel guilty for not going or having more to do with it ❤ I am really happy you posted this! Thinking of you and praying for you always 🙏 ❤️

Another thought-you mentioned about it being a challenge for you individually and I like that point and to be honest with yourself and what you need to push yourself on. Doing something like this and committing to it has had the greatest benefit on me mentally because it was a commitment I kept to myself and that was the biggest reward for it.

I love this idea! This is way more realistic. I think with mine, I need to add more reading/podcasts/self reflection & even meditation instead of watching tv/videos. I also plan to go on a health/wellness retreat soon in Arizona. I’m excited to learn more about myself again. Thank you for the inspiration 🫶🏻

This sounds like a very approachable version of the 75 hard challenge! I’ve been thinking about this for a while but it’s a little intimidating for me (I guess that’s the point though right lol) so I think I’ll try this! I’ll need to really address my morning routine, because I think realistically that’s when I’ll be able to walk outside.
You have to do it how it should be done 😂 it’s the hardest and easiest thing you can do. Maybe don’t do it right now but some day! It is amazing! After you get to day 20/30 it’s amazing. Then 40-60 are so long and you just want to nap lol. But day 76 is amazing.
Oh for sure I explained in this video I still want to do it someday. But I’m not gonna risk my safety with negative degree temperatures just for a challenge 😅 I also know drinking a gallon of water every day is really bad for your kidneys. So idk about the water situation. But I would love to do it once the weather isn’t dangerous lol maybe in the summer!

I think it’s great to also encourage the soft ish or smedium I think you said and working on these “tasks” as a daily life long thing which I think is what you’re doing too. If you do it with the gallon and such-which I know you naturally eat more keto or did I would for sure look into it to make sure you’re balanced there. I know I added in electrolytes myself. I was walking outdoors during the stupid cold spell too-my eyelashes were freezing and then would melt from my breathing through the ski mask 😂 I looked insane! I hope you read my original comment they way I intended. I meant it in like an encouraging you have to do it one day girl kind of way to experience it and not in a negative way. It’s a great thing for me to tap into when I feel lost in the world or “losing control” of things around me and it’s nice to have a healthier coping mechanism even if it’s 30 days of it etc.

Great job, Monica! I found that lifting light weights (5-12 lbs), transformed my body more so than just cardio alone.
