I am entranced by this young man's playing. I also find him refreshingly humble for a guitarist. In the piece he performs for this guitar, when he plays the two chords 3 octaves apart the voicing is just soooo clear in both positions. You know this guitar is something special.
Wow, I am delighted that Ichika is the very first Japanese Signature Artist ever for Ibanez! His unique style on the guitar immediately catches my ear every time I hear him play, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of that honor. Sure, he has a virtuosic level of ability on the guitar, but the way he uses his complicated technique always adds more texture, color, and layers to his compositions. I never feel like I'm listening to a Guitar Center "Wank-Off" competition, and that is the sign of a true artist, in my opinion... Musical Taste... The ability to know when to sheath your sword and when to go in with guns full-blazing (sorry to mix analogies)! I'm looking forward to trying this signature guitar out one day. Keep up the great work, Ichika and Ibanez both! 👍🏼👍🏼
My personal take on this: Ibanez is very picky for selecting the signature artist from Japan. I think they have made a great move with this. They can be proud that, I think, no one else can mistook Ichika for someone else.

Ibanez always been my favourite guitar company and this guitar is just 👌 I own an Ibanez electric and steel string and they are both great
New Kiko Signature which is already well overdue.
I don't believe it will ever come out. The new model (green, RGA body) was very unpopular and even Kiko barely uses it
