UCLA Bruin fan, besides the UCLA fight song, Oklahoma and Oregon have always had my second favorite fight songs in college football.
King of the Hill really sold this to me in a halarious way. I`m in Connecticut by the way.
My highschool uses the same fight song for our games, and its always very fun to play as a euphonium.

BA, 1986. I’ve not lived in Oklahoma since graduation. I’ve been around the world and lived from east coast to west coast. I miss Oklahoma but I married a Puerto Rican and flights from Oklahoma to San Juan are tough. She loves Oklahoma. I remember the first time I brought her home we were on the road and stopped at a fast food restaurant. There was an elderly lady working and after she gave us our food, she followed us to our table and struck up a conversation (she was fascinated with Maria’s ascent). When we left my wife was amazed. She said she’s never met strangers that were as kind as the ones in Oklahoma. I told her we Okies don’t recognize strangers only new friends.
