Your videos are exceptional! Great clarity, voice over, addressing sea life, directions, etc. I have a home I purchased in Curacao 10 years ago. I dove most of the sights you have filmed and get intrigued to go dive them again.
@@TropicLens That's awesome! Bonaire was one of our choices but was more difficult to fly into then. Will be awesome to call it home. I'm working on it!!
We did a two tank dive on Tugboat beach a few weeks ago. This video is remarkably accurate and useful (except for calling a sand perch or lizardfish a sand diver). I'd strongly recomment this video to anyone gong to Curacao.
Starting some planning for a weeks stay and we want to shore dive 100% our dives at our own pace and skip the boats. This spot looked awesome. Thanks for posting
Glad you liked it David. The ship finally finished repairs a few weeks ago, so I am not sure how the cup corals are doing with more sunlight during the day. We plan to get back there in the next week or two. #2 on the island for us is Piskadó. Not sure if you have a car/transportation, but the west side has terrific diving as well. Safe travels!
Love your videos! We are heading to Curacao in a few weeks. We will definitely dive this, and you answered my question in your video... We will make this a two tank dive as we tend to go slow and like to shoot video/photos! And we'll probably come back for a night dive!
So glad you found it informative. Director's Bay is a little further down that road and has quite a dramatic drop off. We didn't dive that at night, so we don't have a video on it (yet). Other favorites of ours include Playa Piskadó and Playa Porto Mari. Oh, try Playa Marie Pampoen at night as well. :-) Travel safely and let us know what you see.
Absolutely love your videos and channel! I got my open water cert in Curacao and Tug Boat was my first official fun dive (of course the training dives were fun as well). I love how informative your videos are! Keep up the great work!!!
So glad to hear that John. Thanks so much. It means a lot when someone takes the time to send a quick note. When you were in this neck of the woods, did you make it to Bonaire? We start site from there this week!
Thanks Steve. Hope you, Marcel, Marjolijn and Mopie all had a terrific and busy Christmas! We still have one more Aruba shore dive to complete, but I was just super stoked about Tugboat Beach. :-) Best of December next week and Santo Largo the week after. Take care and look us up if you plan to visit Curaçao (through April) or Bonaire (through November).
Loving the content so far! Just recently got my open water and am going to Curacao, this is exactly the kind of profile and explanation that I need as a new diver. Awesome stuff keep it up.
Glad you like these Chris. We just got back from a very rainy Vaersenbaai (aka Kokomo Beach) which will be the next video. We may do Tugboat or a Director's Bay to Tugboat drift on Friday night. Awesome dive. You will love it. Congrats on the open water cert! Now you're hooked! Let us know what you thought of Tugboat.
Wow, I'll take that compliment! We are not related, but there are more than a few similarities with respect to passion about sharing the world with others. Leslie and I are just a bit more (under)water based. :-) Excellent user name, BTW. Email from RUclips said "Some Dude commented on your video." I wonder if "A Random Guy" is taken...
Wonderful video as always. Heading back to Curacao in April. Such a beautiful Island, both above and below the water.
Thanks Kathleen. Indeed, Curaçao is terrific at any elevation. :-)

Glad you like them John. We are in the building process on Bonaire and can't wait to officially call it home. :-)

Thanks phthisics. Tugboat is in the Top 3 dives for us on Curaçao. :-)

@@TropicLens Not yet, but it is on the list. We did some diving in Barbados that was great for two novice divers. Recommend you check it out.
Looks like an awesome dive you guys! Keep up the good work

Is Rick Steves your dad?
