Man, I've been checking service records in top tier matches; the majority of players, especially F-15s only have played 18-to-26 hours in game. There so new, they're aren't aware of what they don't know.

@@GrapeFlavoredAntifreeze yes and no because you could still use rockets to flare the missiles (if you had any) and aim9b to lure the incoming heatseeker into it. With radar missiles you still had to check out for chaffing/notching, multipath and keeping the lock while paying attention. With AMRAAM there's none of these issues except multipath and since the missile is going to correct it's path constantly you're going to hardly ever notch.. Forgot to add that when All aspect missiles saw 9.0 there's maybe four to six of them, and the carriers had relatively poor performance. Now everyone has these and everyone is as fast.

The missile is stupid. the missile doesnt know the difference between a flare and a plane, the missile will fly into the sun the first chance it gets

It knows this because it knows where it isn't, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn't, or where it isn't, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance sub-system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position where it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event of the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has required a variation. The variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too, may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computance scenario works as follows: Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is, however it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subracts where it should be, from where it wasn't, or vice versa. By differentiating this from the algebraic sum og where it shouldn't be, and where it was. It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air"

you cannot subtract where the missile is from where the missile isn't because these are sets with an empty intersection: you cannot be and not to be at the same time in the same place (i mean technically you can subtract, but these operations will do nothing: where the missile is minus where the missile isn't equal to where the missile is)
you can get rid of the FOX-3 as well, and dont forget these are not the top notch ones you know from DCS or other games, once they lost the target they cannot relock it automatically this requires further advanced missiles, the later R-77 and AIM-120 might be able to do this.
SU-27SM has a improved N001V radar for your question on the differences.
flaring IRCCM is pretty simple. Spam flares, roll, go in a straight line, die, come here into the comments and complain about how broken IRCCM is and how they are impossible to flare.

In your flare guide can you be huge cocked and test against ground /heli aams. Specifically the Chinese premium heli and the strela/Igla missiles.

The radar of my plane works like a flashlight and planes are reflectors
The missile will go for the brightest return signal
Keeping something locked up will make it guide towards said target.
It doesn't work out like this all the time and it is a bit lucky but its good practice to try and relock whenever you lose it

IOG guidance, bassically like tws mode, using the planes last speed and vectors, it predicts the next movement of plane for a long time. so when ur missiles loses locks, it just goes in that direction for sometimes then explodes, in this case his search radar was still giving signals so it aided the missile a bit and hence it hit.
@@NoisterProP sure only the R27’s have IOG. Thats why they can fly without radar lock for up to a minute, this one was just bc he relocked fast enough. Usually sparrows don’t really like switching targets like that, half the time they just blow up even if you relock properly.

I do hope we get the ability to dumb fire the Fox 3 missiles, in DCS being able to fire off a Fox 3 in "mad dog" mode is incredibly useful to stop a bandit pushing you and respecting the MAR (minimum abort range)
Considering the absolute inability of wt players to know when you're clear to fire missiles
The last thing we want is people dumb firing these into teammates

Air RB really needs to be like in clan battles GRB... No markers, you can only see your team's markers at a certain distance, more objectives for the different existing roles and multiple spawns. Otherwise it's going to be a spawn, climb a bit, spam FOX-3s, die/land, repeat.
If Air RB was already boring, it's only going to get worse.

I'm curious how far back they'll provide FOX-3s, there's some aircraft below 12.0 that are capable of using them but I reckon they'll only give certain top dogs the fox-3s, at least initially.

I think the addition of these missiles will help a lot with top tier balance actually. Obviously those flying planes that don't have them will have a really hard time until they get them, but it will end the dominance of the R-27ER that is leagues better than any other missile in the game so far.

Wait Defyn if only the F-15C could carry Amraams does that mean that the Japanese F-15J will be the only F-15 in the game to receive Amraams? Also regarding the AAM-4 for Japan. If they were to add it wouldnt that mean an introduction to a new type of radar system AESA. And from what I read that notching and going cold on this type of radar doesn’t matter and it’ll still hit.
AESA seeker was only on the AAM-4B and going cold would still work because it doesnt involve the seeker

Derby's should have a 23kg warhead and the missile is an enlarged version of the Python-4 with an active-radar seeker, so expect to be fairly nimble. So maybe we might get Python 4's for Israel too.

One of my favorite tactics I used during the Fox-3 test a bit ago was suckering people into closer range holding them close to my radar gimble limit with a missile primed. I'd usually use this whenever I was forced defensive for whatever reason. Sets me up for a HOBS shot and gets me really close to the notch already. Once they got to ~5-6km, I shot. They couldn't hit the notch in time. Cause all the missiles had really good acceleration, and most of them had agility capable of making an R-27ER jealous. If they returned fire, I was already most of the way to the notch, and almost always survived the missile. Almost every time, they did not...
Can't wait for the entirely of reddit to cry about how these missiles are all completely undodgeable while displaying footage of them doing absolutely nothing right to avoid or use them. Grabbing my popcorn already...

I'd be surprised if the AAM-4 was more or less to its modern standard. To be seen, but look at the AAM-3 right now... certainly should be way more capable than it is (They've even acknowledged a report on it) but it's basically just an analog of the 9M with less drag currently.

@NheNiceGuy sure it won't be an F-15, but we've reached the point where it doesn't matter what airframe you have as long as your missiles can compete. And the Phantom is still a missile bus. Plus it receives an F-18 radar, updated weapon systems, and improved avionics. It'll be the best Phantom in the game

The one thing I want to see when fox 3 drops is a lower player count, I can't see it being possible with everyone spamming fox-3's in a 16v16 "just stay low" still doesn't mater, once you pitch up, 50/50 you'll be sniped.
