I have played the Faces of Evil and the Wand of Gamelon, and it's never really explained what the Triforce of Courage actually does, whereas the Triforce of Wisdom is a mere scrying device so Impa can give Zelda tips on what to do next, and how to do it -- something Gwonam can do just like that. The Triforce of Power is never mentioned at all. All in all, they have little to no impact on the story. But yeah, it's very well possible that the triangle in the King's circlet is supposed to be the Triforce of Courage.

I think it's awesome how many YTP videos you put out this year
idea: The king shaves and no one recognizes him, even Ganon after capturing him has no idea who he is and ends up letting him go.
YTP idea: Ganon Argues the Triforce of Power is Best.
The Triforce of Power is the greatest in Koridai.
I'm surprised Ganon didn't come in to argue for the Triforce of Power.
Idea: Ganon manages to reflect the book of Koridai back to Link, leading him to be trapped in Lady Alma's mirror.
I never thought of the triangle on the King's head to be the Triforce of Courage. I wonder if that's part of the actual games (I haven't played them)?

This explains why everyone in the CD-i games is an idiot. We now have the origin story.
How unfair of Impa to say that nobody asked, when she started by saying out of nowhere that her triforce is better.
