We had a brief power outage yesterday and I sprang into action as I normally would to set up a candle in each room in case it’s out for awhile. But instead of the usual white scentless emergency ones, I was preparing to use some of the newer scented ones. I’d only lit one up before the power came back on and just let that go awhile. I realized I’d missed an opportunity to try mixing different fragrances, which is something I still haven’t done yet. I’m collecting some wax from assorted candles and I’ll try it frankenstein style once I have enough of them. I don’t usually have any trouble with my sleep overall but I have noticed that the one thing that seems to enhance or promote deeper sleep is just vigorous activity or exercise during the day. Just wear yourself out good and you can sleep like a baby at night. I haven’t tried any gummies but people say they hit way harder than smoking. I just get my mellow and high from the exercise.
Great empties. I think those long thin colonial candles were from an old time decoration. I don’t know what they are called but they are metal. Mine and the most common one had flying angels with trumpets. The heat from the candles makes it twirl around. Sorry about your sleeping troubles. I have used the gummies DO drops for sleep. Mine have 10 thc. It’s weird. Sometimes it worked great and other times it has given me a horrible migraine in the morning. I take the same amount 1/2 gummy so I’m not sure why some of the time it would do that. It was so bad the last time I haven’t taken it in months. That same thing happens with half an OTC sleeping pill. Sometimes it works great and sometimes I get a migraine. I’m not buying anymore gummies either.
Love all the candles you got in your friend mail and the cookbook!!! My mom burned Bayberry during the holidays. Sanibel Island is in Fl and it’s famous for all the beautiful shells. Can’t wait to listen to the Season of Joy and the Christmas cards!!! I don’t have any really vintage cards to send but I’m really excited about exchanging cards again this year. Thanks for the update on the gummies, I think I’ll pass on them. I have been waking up every 2 hrs averaging getting up 4xs. Ugh, I’d love to sleep all night. 💖💖💖
