This week Pastor Tyson preaches out of Genesis 12 where we see Abram’s fear quickly justified, partly due to his own deception, and Pharaoh takes Sarai as his own bride. When we try to fulfill God's promises for Him, we typically just get in the way. God’s way is the best way - this includes his design for love, sex, and marriage. Trying to fulfill these things outside of the boundaries he placed for them, only leads to destruction: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. This was a sermon I really needed today. It is difficult to stay patient and have faith that someone special will come along because the world tells us that those with disabilities have no value. Jesus teaches us that the best things are worth the wait. I don't live for this world. I live for Jesus!

Hallelujah I needed this. I’ll admit I have struggled with lust, but I’ve always believed I can come out of it. Also, if I can ever date again, I hope to date for one goal: marriage and family (ok maybe two). Case and point, we should forget about our selfish desires and look to love from God.
