I'm not unsaved but I will be watching and since I started listening to you and many others out loud, my previously unsaved husband has come to a belief in Jesus as his Savior! I'm so thankful that I can have church all the time this way. Don't need any TV or radio.
I love your personal testimonials added to your teachings. Nine year old Brett and the rotten peach. Great message as always! Merry Christmas from Chattanooga TN!!❤
We attend Calvary Chapel, Petaluma! We love Zach... We'd love to have you come as a guest pastor sometime! Listen to you regularly, thank you for your boldness, brother!
@@smouvecouve8082was the thief on the cross baptized? He’s saying it’s not a necessity in order to be saved. We’re saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord. Baptism doesn’t save rather it’s a public declaration of the faith we have in Christ. He’s not saying not to get baptized only that it’s not a work that we have to do for salvation.
Hi Julie! We'd encourage you to reach out to our Pastoral Care Team at 971.250.1113. They'll be able to give you more information on resources you can use!
I’m always baffled by teachers that still adhere to using King James. Don’t get me wrong, I do reference this version at times and am saddened that some versions remove completely certain verses which is usually their reasoning, but when a teacher has to basically interpret what it’s saying, how is that different than reading other much easier to understand versions? I have friends who are a baptist Pastor and wife and they say it’s the ONLY version that is acceptable. I love them dearly, they are missionaries and are doing a lot of good for God’s kingdom, but we definitely disagree on many things. This is at the top of that list.
Pastor Brett isn't KJV only.... He actually JUST addressed this in a previous video. It's just what he grew up reading, but endorsed other translations. Careful to assume he's a KJV only.

I'd go out and say if anyone thinks you need to baptized to be saved are calling Lord Jesus Christ a liar, GOD FORBID!
Explain please
@@smouvecouve8082 Thief on the cross was told by Jesus that He would see him in Paradise. Thief couldn't be baptized as he was being crucified.

Who was Pastor Brett talking about, Kenneth Whees? I can't find him, thank you! 🙏
Hi Julie! Can you clarify what part of the sermon you have a question about? We'd love to help you find the information.
@@AtheyCreek it was regarding Kenneth's commentary.
Thank you 🙂
No problem Julie! Pastor Brett was referring to Kenneth Wuest's: The New Testament: An Expanded Translation.
@AtheyCreek Thank you, means a lot to me 🙂
Love your teaching, but Every time you read a passage using 15th century English, you have to explain it in modern English. Why not just use the NKJV.

@ agree with you. When I run into KJV-only people I ask them if they recommend that version for the Chinese.

Thief on the cross
They always have a theory on that, they won't give up because they want to try to do something for their salvation.
