    Out of curiosity I put a set of tapes on my Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite and entered a whole new level of joy playing that guitar. Sound is one thing and the feel is a whole other level.Love em.

      RUclips didnt exist when I was in my BEHS prime( 40 frickin' years ago, 61 now), and you're right.. THATS THE SOUND I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!! Sigh. I cant play anymore cause of very, very SEVERE arthritis..

    Nice. These strings sound great. I have one of those first run Squier P Basses from China as well, although mine is Sonic Blue. They're outstanding basses!

      @@peponaal0800 I was just making a silly John McEnroe joke. But seriously, using your ears to learn music is a very important skill to have. And if you are going to read something, skip the Tabs and learn to read regular notation. I'll put you ahead of most bass players out there.

    Nice playing, it’s rare to see pick playing at this level aside from guys like Justin Chancellor and Bobby Vega. Most pick players play any bass as a 2 string bass.

      Sound is pretty much the smallest difference when it comes to different priced instruments. RUclips also does some compression

    Tapewounds feel great and have killer midrange. The problem with tapewounds is that they lack deep behs.

    Danny, спасибо за урок! 👍.. Вы не подскажете, отчего такое может быть, - на моём басу, Squire by Fender, почему то звук самый громкий это на четвёртой струне МИ, а затем почему-то громкость становится тише, - на третьей, ЛЯ, а на второй струне РЕ, - она получается совсем самая тихая! Первая струна СОЛЬ, снова более менее громкая, чуть потише, чем МИ.. То есть, почему-то средние две струны имеют явный провал по громкости!

    I want to use stuff like this and then I remember I’m a rock bassist who must with the unfortunate reality that is a slightly overdriven pbass tone buried in the mix

    Tapewounds are the reason most beatle basses sound inaccurate: they aren't using them, they think he uses flats!
