I think it’s canon that they can fly(I think it may be retconned as I’ve never seen em fly in ice born) Could be like jungle fowl and roadrunners were they can but very poorly as thier built for the ground, wich actually makes sense considering thier habitat and niche as jungle/forest based ambush predators
"Shadow" is essentially the name they go by together. Their names are Noir and Grief, or that's the English translation of their names anyway. I'm not sure which one is the main one here.
