This is not airline approved beings the battery is a 20A lithium battery unless you got the 10A battery then it would be allowed on the airline. FAA approve lithium batteries up to 12A, anything larger than 12A will not be allowed on the airline. You should be able to reach almost 5mph on this unit which is the top speed its programmed for.
Hi there. I was wondering if they beep on reversing like mobility scooters? Some of the latest scooters beep so loud people nearby look quite uncomfortable! Many thanks.
So they do beep but they are able to mute the beeping noise when in reverse. You would hit the horn button and the button for slowing the speed and it will mute the reverse beep. Hope that helps!
The front wheel is a little big 11 inches.normal wheel, the rear is 16 inches. It would be great if it were, there are pebbles, stones, small wheels, problems everywhere, and I have to say that we are experiencing the obstacle of breaking under the ground.
Agreed with larger front casters being better for going over obstacles. Being a lightweight folding chair, it is made for folding and putting inside a vehicle. With it needing to be smaller for those reasons, they didn't put a larger drive or front caster on this unit. I'm afraid we have no design input on these models. We just sell what the manufacture puts on the market. Now there are other options out there for lightweight folding chairs with other size casters and drive tires that we have on our website if you are interested. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
Hi, Yes you can use it inside and outside. Its just not an off-road machine so if you're taking in on non-paved surfaces then it would need to be on compact ground.
The Whill and the Robooter are very similar. The Jazzy Carbon is a different kind of lightweight chair just being smaller. They all are good quality and going to get you where you need to go.
We do have other options for lightweight folding power chairs that have airline approved batteries. Give us a call and we can talk about what you are looking for and what may be some good options for you and your needs.
This was taken over by Golden and is now called the Golden Ally. It has 12A airline approved batteries in this unit so it is good to take on a plane. marcsmobility.com/robooter-e40-folding-power-wheelchair.html
Just bought this one and now it’s capped at 3.7mph after updating and the sales person also said it was air travel friendly.

Have you done a review of the E60 yet please?
We have not done one on the E60. We are no longer selling Robooter brand units so we will not be reviewing any of their products.
@@Marcsmobility Ok, thank you for letting me know.

I loved this chair but the non compliant battery for airlines is definitely a deal breaker 😢
