My wife, my three young children and I lived in Melchor Muzquiz for around 12 months from Autumn 1969 to Autumn 1970. I was employed as an electrical engineer during the two year commissioning of mine mechanisation for Hullera Mexicana. As a family we loved to stroll around the Plaza and the raspas were refreshing and memorable. We moved to Sabinas for our final year in Mexico.
