All the best and I hope you are liking it, you can switch to dispatch and operations role as well but I think accounts is a core knowledge for working of a Transport company.

I have worked as Procurement Coordinator in 1 of the world's best organization in Pakistan. I would say Procurement is not for everyone. It demands too much effort and analysis at the same time. But its always fun to learn something new everyday.

Hello sir, hope you're doing well. Sir, I'm a college going student and I want to make my career in supply chain management and logistics, but I'm confused with, where to start from. Like what all courses do I need to do to get an internship in initial stages. Please help me step by step. It would be a great favour of yours.

      Hi Sarthak,
I would suggest if you are studying SCM course, then contact your professors and take advice from them as well. Moreover, you can do certification courses like CLTD, CSCP, and CPIM; from India you can do an Export & Import Course while studying. Lastly, take internships in SCM field that will help you to build a network and understanding of the industry.
      I hope this helps
      Good Luck :)

      Hi Mayur,
There are lot of opportunities here specially in North America, where Supply chain is really vast and growing.
So the thing is that in Canada you can't apply job directly if you are outside Canada. So either you can apply for PR directly under Express Entry and you can then apply for jobs or you can get an LMIA related work permit which permits you enter and work with a specific employer here.
      I hope this helps

      Hi There,
You can apply for a course either in college or in University depending upon your budget. Colleges do offer diplomas and University degrees.
Get a two yr program in college and then 3yr PGWP and then get a full-time job and then you will be eligible for PR as well, and you can stay/work here in Canada permanently.
      I hope this helps
      Good Luck

As per I know, the minimum 6.5 is needed for Universities and 6 is good to colleges. Yes, you can apply for SCM Diploma in any colleges you want, for Ontario Province you can apply at ontariocolleges.ca
Also, check other provinces like MB, AB, NB, NS or SK and from these provinces you can get PR easily as well.
      So it is upto you.

Hello brother I’m in fully confusion because, I was done my Bachelor’s on 2011 and Joined Government Sector as a Data Clerck, but now I’m planning to do Masters in Supply Chain Management at Canada, is there any chance to get admission in any university in Canada. I was done MBA (Finance & HR) in Distance Education affiliated with S.V. University and I’m holding Certified Certificates like SAP, M.S Office & (Revit Architecture this is only for information). Is there any possibilities to do Masters or M.S in SCM and I don’t know Mathematics very well. So, please suggest me brother which one I have to choose for studies and getting jobs. Would you please suggest me which course is suitable for my profile. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE BROTHER.

    • @SinghSajal
      @SinghSajal  9 месяцев назад

      Hi There,
Yes, you can opt for MBA or Masters in SCM but mathematics is a basic one not that statistical. So, I believe there are opportunities for those with non-maths backgrounds. Also, you can find a couple of jobs in SCM or Logistics related which do not involve maths. Lastly, if possible try for PR under Express entry or PNP
      I hope this helps

      Hi There,
You will get the same job title mainly. But the thing is that you need to figure out whether you will come on PR or Study Permit.
I hope this helps and Good Luck :)
      Thanks

      Hi There,
Yes, you can do online courses as well if you are in India or anywhere in the world you can do global certifications that can help you in gaining the skills for the SCM. Courses from APICS which include CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, etc. These courses can be done online if you want to start from very basic then go with Coursera courses and Udemy ones.
      I hope this helps
      Thanks :)
