Also Alex Jones 2022 stuffs happened which also contributes to his no performance policy. VULTURES duology may have been collab album between Ye & Ty, but it started out as Ty album produced by Ye. Hence the themes of horniness, money, and etc. Compare VULTURES 1 & 2 with Ye & Ty's discography, you'll find it's similar to Ty's. For V2 however it was a lazy move by Ye. However, I believe Ye will redeem himself with "Bully", he is performing again, producing his songs again, finishing songs with real verses done by him. Since the rollout started yesterday, we even got finished 530. Fortunately, He is back
i meant more that the Donda 2 mic throw was symbolic because on an album where he is mumbling everywhere, trying to be toxic, etc. when he opened his mouth to perform finally, it was almost like the world was rejecting that from happening. so its not meant to be taken completely literally from me.
@@kidxvintage oh, i get it. But still Donda 2 era still had good music, some were half-finished. Tbh it had lotta potential and I hate the fact Ye threw all of this away, but it was for the greater good ig. He did perform in LP tho, but it still aligns more with your narrative. @@DAVTARS yeah! donda 2 has some insane potential, dont get me wrong but overall when i revisit it now, i have to judge it as an unfinished album that he sold to his fans for $200

@@kidxvintage go listen to Ye spitting fire outta mouth in Keep It Burnin. Ye is still creative but lazy asf. If you got so problem with 2022 Ye, what's your opinion on WAR?
Wanting Ye to retire or even thinking that's a viable options is an absolutely egregious misunderstanding of him as a person and everything he stands for. He said as far back as 2015 that he doesn't care about a legacy. That's not what his purpose is. He's not just a music artists where their music catalog is all they have so they cling to an idealized version of themselves. He's a creative powerhouse with millions of ideas a day. He's not gonna stop creating or expressing himself just because not everything resonates with audiences. For Ye giving up is way harder than trying
@@kidxvintage Like Ye said, he doesnt gaf. I don't like how you are painting Post Donda Ye like a monster, he ain't even done anything. He wasn't involved voluntarily with VULTURES 2, it was Ty introducing AI and overall an album revolved around Ty and his brother. If V2 abomination never happened he wouldn't even consider saving his career atp, but seeing him locked in, making theatrical experiences at LP, putting effort in finishing albums and producing new ones is a sign of hope. Also bold of you to assume Ye wants to be like his older self during VULTURES era, he was avoiding his previous persona. But now he has found his style, he has found himself

the issue is these are all genuine criticisms. i don’t think kanye has had a good body of work since Donda (which itself is bloated but if it was like the best 16 songs and not 32 then it would be amazing). but donda 2 is bad but it also ever really got released so idk. 3/10. vultures 1 is a bad and generic trap album. i think people accept it more since it’s just a normal below average rap album, but for kanye that’s not good. it’s like a 3/10 at best. and vultures 2 is genuinely one of the worst albums i’ve heard this year. genuinely embarrassing. 0/10. and this is coming from me, who before donda 2 would say kanye didn’t have an album below a 5 or 6; and averaged an 8-9 in my mind. college dropout is still a 10. the guy who made last call and family business also made paperwork.
@@DAVTARS in two decades he ranges from a 6-10. in the last three years, he has went from that quality to dropping three bad albums in a row. two threes (imo) and a zero.

Ngl, without this event, Ye's Korea Performance would not have hit harder.
Overall, great video I liked the part where you explained Donda. I was just kinda pissed with the Donda 2 thing
@@DAVTARS yeah! donda 2 has some insane potential, dont get me wrong but overall when i revisit it now, i have to judge it as an unfinished album that he sold to his fans for $200
@@kidxvintage that's true. Hopefully Ye is finishing V2 now, so we good
@@DAVTARS even the songs he is finishing of V2 tho are rough. the finished 530 verse sounded worse ahaha
There was a livestream that went up around 3 am that previewed vultures 2, which no one tuned into 😭
funny enough i was up because i was finishing uploading a video (The Slow Death of Concerts, which is on my channel lmaolololol)
i had randomly checked the yeezy site like 5 minutes after it started and i heard one song and turned my phone off and went to sleep
The name of the album is vultures.
I dont have no rapper friends…

Underrated

@@kidxvintage you man, your channel deserves more recognition
@@mr.Arsene maaaaaan i appreciate that! thank you!
Donda 2 was ammazing, it had huge potential
Agreed, he has great songs from 2022-23 era that this video fails to capture. Bro totally forgot WAR existed and had some of most soul-touching Ye songs. Now Bully is gonna Build Ye's carrier back
Because its an unreleased album. Donda 2 he at least put out for purchase with a Stem player.
it had huge potential to be amazing? or its just amazing? LOL
@@kidxvintage go listen to Ye spitting fire outta mouth in Keep It Burnin. Ye is still creative but lazy asf.
If you got so problem with 2022 Ye, what's your opinion on WAR?
its an album that never was released
Jesus is king is one of his best albums its underrated for no reason
its a good album on a regular rating scale but in comparison to the rest of Kanye’s Pre-Donda 2 catalog, it is bottom of the barrel
@@kidxvintage nah I personally like it more than 808s and heartbreaks but w vid
appreciate it!! beauty of ye’s discography that every album before 2022 has a valid argument at being his best! best discography ever
2015 Ye would vomit if he heard Vultures 2
@kidxvintage you must not know Ye like I do if you genuinely think that lmao. Also good job dodging my whole point
THEY DONT KNOW YE LIKE I DOOOOOO
Yeah because Ty Dolla $ign was calling the shots on a collab album with Kanye West. Got it. That makes complete sense. Give me a break lmao
I really love the creative direction and branding of new Kanye. The music, regardless of how good it is now, bores me so much. I’ll listen to the albums once or twice and be done with them
thats how i was with vultures 2
@@kidxvintageyeah like, conceptually it’s so cool, but the guy has to balance the conceptual with the sound. I’m really into Cold Visions by Bladee, that’s something I almost feel is comparable, but Cold Vision is realized on every front
i really hope BULLY is good

Vultures 2 is great
to each their own i guess
Kanye will always be changing, and Vultures is pretty good
I actually like Vultures 1, just in the discography of Ye it is bottom tier and stands out as such
Kanye shouldn't just stopped after WTT
New gen
Next Gen Kanye
Bro I just fell into your video and not see it completely but when you show up the news to confirm what did u say, you pull it out too fast, I can barely read it, I have to go back and pause the video. When you want to show something, make sure your audience can notice and see it. Its only an advice brother
noted! thanks for the feedback!
kanye is going to build a studio in antarctica stop the nitrus addiction and make the best hiphop album of all time

I like Kanye because without him there would be no Travis Scott

My king
the issue is these are all genuine criticisms. i don’t think kanye has had a good body of work since Donda (which itself is bloated but if it was like the best 16 songs and not 32 then it would be amazing).
but donda 2 is bad but it also ever really got released so idk. 3/10.
vultures 1 is a bad and generic trap album. i think people accept it more since it’s just a normal below average rap album, but for kanye that’s not good. it’s like a 3/10 at best.
and vultures 2 is genuinely one of the worst albums i’ve heard this year. genuinely embarrassing. 0/10.
and this is coming from me, who before donda 2 would say kanye didn’t have an album below a 5 or 6; and averaged an 8-9 in my mind.
college dropout is still a 10.
the guy who made last call and family business also made paperwork.

@@janno7214 wdym?
it;s been 2 decades, there will be ups and downs, smh
@@DAVTARS in two decades he ranges from a 6-10. in the last three years, he has went from that quality to dropping three bad albums in a row. two threes (imo) and a zero.
New Kanye is the old Kanye . If Kanye didn’t try new sounds ( even the sounds people didn’t like ) people would say it sounds the same how people said how future is right now. Or lil baby.
he isnt trying anything new on Donda 2 or Vultures

good video but please stick to 1 song for longer than 5 seconds
appreciate it! wanted to try to celebrate as much of his music as i could

AND ANOTHER THING... ITS BEEN LIKE 4 YEARS SINCE DONDA. HE CAN DROP SOMETHING LIKE THAT IF HE WANTED TOO. VULTURES ARE EXPERIMENTAL ALBUMS!!!
you gotta listen to more experimental albums
808s is not his best album. Great album but not his best. Not even top 3 in his discography.
Its his best album.
@@kidxvintage Love 808s I don’t think it’s his best.
1. Graduation
2. MBDTF
3. College Dropout
4. Late Registration
5. 808s
6. TLOP
7. Donda
The rest I barely cared for.
And if we adding collab albums then Watch The Throne is between TCD and LR
where is YEEZUS?!?!!
@@kidxvintage ngl to you I didn’t enjoy Yeezus. I liked four songs from that. It had no replay value for me. I didn’t understand what that album was about.

Bully will save us 🙏
There is nothing I would like more than to be wrong about the future of Ye. Truly.
16:51 I don’t even have to insert a random rapper’s name because for V1 at least, a lot of it sounded like stuff JPEGMafia could’ve had for a “between LP & ILDMLFY” album.
something like Do It doesn’t feel like it should be on a Kanye album
