I think the combination of action figure heads with Mengf fashion doll bodys is a fantastic idea. Excellent work on this. They are far superior to Barbies and even Fashion Royalty dolls, at least in my opinion. I'll see you around

I am one person 😅 Ok... sometimes my daughter helps me with some editing, but that's it 😁 I am just one collector who shares her finds with the world 😊 Honestly, the combination of action head and Mengf was more of an accident 🤣 I bought an action figure head for an action figure body... and I simply hated the combination. I tried different bodies to get something for the head that I bought, and the fashion girl body looked amazing together with it! Great styling as usual and I think the Mengf bodies gives these action figure heads a high fashion look. I have not like these action figure heads paired with the action figured bodies. But on these bodies, they look really good. I don't have any female action figure heads. Maybe I should get a couple to try. By the way, the IT Japan bodies are very pale without a grayish undertone to my eyes. I have used them to give my very pale Silkstone dolls articulation. They are a close match.

The standard mtm bodies really need nicer hands 😮💨 And you are totally right, interchangeable hands would be nice, too 😁 I will look it up for you tomorrow. The early 2000 girls should be a match for beige and Hungarian... but I have to check that first 😉
Most of my (only 4🤣) Teresa's are too orange/yellow in their undertone. Only one from 2006 (Fashion Fever/Dress Up Dresser) is a good match for the beige body and an okay match for the Hungarian. The Hungarian is doable... the head is just a bit lighter. I will use her in a video so you can see the proportions 😁

No, the eyes of these do not move 😅 So far, I have only one older one from 2017 with that feature. But there are newer ones available that do have movable eyes. Maybe I will get one of these as well in the future 😁 The eyes simply look pretty lifelike because of the finish they use, I think. They are very shiny 😃 Thank you for your comment 🥰

I totally agree 😁 moveable eyes look amazing... but they are kind of annoying 😆 Even with bigger eyes on BJDs, I often struggle for hours to get them in the way I like the look... with the tiny eyes of those action figures, it won't be much easier 😅

I never saw it in person 😅 Usually I don't like it when you can see the gap between eyeball and eyesocket... so that you can look past the eyeball into the head itself 🫣 But for the older head I have, that is not the case. The eyes sit flush to the face, they also do not move over time. Once you were able to get them in the right direction, it's fine 😁 Maybe the whole loose eyeball thing gives you the heebie-jeebies... I can understand that❣️
This Japan skin tone is the same as action bodies and heads tone suntone. All heads that are good for phicen suntone (and that are really a lot) would be perfect. But I never thought about this as a good option for Asian heads... I was thinking about beige mengf for Asian and old superduck heads, they are more brown. Have you tried this head with beige or Hungarian?
So far, every action figure head had a different skin tone. The Asian face mold does have a strong gray undertone like the Mengf Japan skin. The head is a (very tiny!) hint more yellow, but definitely absolutely no match for beige or Hungarian.
Sure, they can 😅 But I never talked about it 🫣 I think it is a valid part of the whole kitbash idea. You can buy seperate headbacks with different hairstyles to swapp them out, for example. Of course it is also easier to repaint or airbrush the face without the hair. But of course the head shouldn't fall apart when removing only the neck adapter 😱 Very recently I got a Super Duck head that had it's neck adapter glued in. It was only a small part of it glued... So, I don't know if it was intentionally. I guess the way they produce these heads also safe production costs. You make the head backs and you can then use them with different face plates 😁

I have Coming Out Navia Phan from IT. She's Japan skin tone, and she's very grey. I would say that body is a match.
