Reading that last line in Dittophobia made me even more disgusted at Afton and makes me believe even more that UCN truly is the perfect hell for him. Being forced to repeat the same "night" tormented by monstrous robots over and over again, thinking he'll make it to six and finally leave or have peace, only to reset and repeat the cycle once more. Just like Rory and his victims.
Afton being collectively haunted by Cassidy and the animatronics united to help her in her quest felt satisfying to watch. He made so many victims and was punished for it, even his own creations turned on him.
It makes me think The MiniGame Cutscenes in FNAF 4, are just hallucinations by Afton……. “The Don’t you remember what you saw.” Is probably just taunting from Afton to bring out fear. And The Shadows in FNAF 4 bite MiniGame represent Aftons Cruel Experiments and are made from Fear And Agony.
The crying child always calls the plushies of the main 4 animatronics his friends. Fredbear points this out in UCN. If they're his friends, then why would they even attack him? He doesn't have a reason to fear his friends. Michael, on the other hand, would have every reason to fear his little brothers' friends.
i thought this video was great until he said that fnaf 4 is conducted by the crying child. wouldn't it mmake more sense for william to be the one tormenting his own son after the bite? just reminding him of everything he has done to his little brother. i think this would make a little more sense.
I'm obviously taking this theory with a grain of salt, AS ALL FNAF FANS SHOULD, but I will say that it's really convincing. I was especially shocked about hearing the connections made between Dittophobia and FNAF 4 and Sister Location. I would even go as far as to bring up one of the teasers for Sister Location. That teaser is the gas leak teaser and now my mind is blown even more.
Technically all the connections with Dittophobia makes with Sister Location was all already knowledge we are given in Sister Location, all the story does is just blatantly spell it out for us
this isn't really even a theory. The story just makes it clear this is canon. This was always the intent. The theory would really be "Is "Wade" really the Mimic, who Afton used to manipulate text subjects after recovering it from Edwins lab?"
@@at_witts_end3470 I was mainly going with what the title of the video is. Even if it's proved to be canon, I always tend to call these videos, theory videos. xD
It’s also possible That The Funtimes contain remnant in each and every one of them and The Main Purpose Of Circus Baby’s Pizza World is to Kidnap Kids and Experiment for Remnant.
We not gonna talk about how cruel in this William is? He was experimenting on Rory, and then he just left him to die. He could just kill him, but he just left him on his own.
For the Fredbears minigame room I personally think Afton was trying to recreate the Bite of 83. We know CC possessed something from the logbook, it's possible Afton connected the dots and realized something about CC's death caused him to linger around as a spirit, and in the Curse of Dreadbear's Dreadbear Repair minigame we're rebuilding Dreadbear (who has tons of CC connections). Afton was possibly doing the Dittophobia experiments pre-discovering remnant, trying to see if extreme fear was what let his son stick around after his death. I'm still not 100% on it, but it makes more sense than the Bite of 83 just not happening, at least to me.
if the fnaf 4 minigames are just what the experimented child is experiencing during what he perceives to be daytime. It makes me wonder why Afton would use the sound disk to show Micheal and other people as illusions in the minigames but not make an illusion for Elizabeth but just leave the room empty with a broken mangle/funtime foxy.
@@kenspen3022 theres no actual evidence of sound disks in the game cont. other than in the story Help Wanted, Afton was using hallucinagenic gas to drug his victims into seeing the nightmares as alive.
@@gabrielgatica2216 Spirits can't do much without something to possess in the FNAF universe. How would CC even get to Mike if his spirit was still stuck in the void. Also "tells us about the bite victim is that he is blind and that he talked to Cassidy once." Cassidy was talking to CC throughout the whole book, talking about CC's party, asking him what he remembers.
14:35 I think, with these experiments, William is trying to discover and record the fear that HIS son was experiencing before the Bite of '83. The Crying Child would have told him of nightmares featuring Fazbear-themed characters, going into vivid detail about things such as Mike's bullying and how he never caught a break. William wouldn't have taken him seriously at the time, (he never was the most caring father figure) but after his death, William must've had a change of heart. Either that or he somehow found out that the Crying Child had lived on after death and wanted to know more. Perhaps, with these experiments, William is trying to re-create the events before his son's death using random children as test subjects, so he can record the conditions needed for possession. The right amount of agony. The right amount of fear. That's what the minigame map is. It doesn't matter if what we see in FNAF 4 is the real deal or not because William is trying to replicate what REALLY happened as best he can in the Sister Location bunker.
Absolutely fantastic video Ozone. The wait for another masterpiece has been worth it. I love this story. It revealed so much, and your little theory at the end was also pretty cool, and actually makes sense. You are the guy for making FNAF videos, I love the fact that you are doing all of these masterpieces alone, without help. Just shows that you will be as famous as Dawko and MatPat one day ❤
Alright so, I really like the theory that Mike is experiencing the crying child’s memories. And Honestly, this could also relate to the Man In Room 1280, and while yes I believe that is a parallel to Cassidy tormenting William, it could also relate to the Bite Victim making Mike experience what he experienced.
Honestly, that's where I've been leaning too. I think this story was building up a very close idea of what was happening without outright telling us the story. I think the idea that Mike has been, whether of his own volition (as a means of escape and coping with loss), or by someone else's coercion (malicious experiments by his father), experiencing his brother's memories really cleanly settles the conflict over whether fnaf 4's gameplay loop was through the eyes of Michael or CC, and it does so by effectively making the answer BOTH. That's why we see the hospital bed, that's why we hear the phone guy tape, that's why it feels so much like we're seeing two different people's memories play out on screen at once, because we ARE. These.are the crying child's memories, his nightmares, and Michael has been reliving them for a long time
There are holes in that. The man is stated to be very evil. Andrew is stated to be murdered by someone & IS torturing them. Murdered is not an accident. Also Eleanor was inside of Afton the entire time. Let’s not forget this corpse explodes inside the distribution center and later on becomes the afton amalgamation. The Afton amalgamation spirit is said to be a purple rabbit amped by Eleanor. The Puppet recognises afton and tries to stop him. I believe Andrew even points out that the monster controlling the afton amalgamation IS the person that murdered him.
@@UnavailableRUclipsChannel what I meant by this is that the story shows that spirits can make other people experience really intense nightmares in their mind, which is what I believe to be happening in Fnaf 4. However, one thing I’m not sure of is the motive behind CC and why he would do this, still looking into that one.
@@IsaacNewbie Bruv I think it’s easier to say Micheal was tortured by William inside the gas chambers. CC has no motivation to do this. In the books he’s entirely made of Light remnant. He isn’t evil, in fact, does everything to go against it. Also, pretty sure the guide ASKS Micheal if he still has nightmares, which wouldn’t happen if CC was the one causing them. Micheal was the one who killed CC, and by that logic I feel like William would be pretty pissed. Also the man in room 1280 is NOT a parallel to the CC and Mike bruh. Andrew was brutaly murdered by the man and wants to torture the crap out of him by giving him horrific nightmares, not his OWN nightmares, but JUST nightmares.
@@UnavailableRUclipsChannel First of all, calm down, it’s just speculation. Second of all, I never said the man in room 1280 was a parallel to CC and Michael. All I said is that it could show that a spirit can cause intense dreams. Third of all, I’m still not sure if it was Michael or CC in the nightmare torture room. Again, this is just speculation.
Here's what I believe as an avid talesgames believer, all the kids in these experiments are dead by the time of sister location, this theory assumes that their remnant is stored in the scooper, I think when Micheal died he had some of their remnant placed into him causing the nightmares for FNAF 4s gameplay section
I don’t know if this an insane theory but is it possible that Rory *is* the original crying child. He’s not just trapped in there as some experiment, he’s there because Afton said he would “put him back together” and by repeating the same loop of nightmares over and over he could create the remnant needed to heal his body. The mini games are there to make sure he doesn’t forget who he is like the others have. IDK, I wouldn’t even consider myself in the FNAF community but I like watching y’all.
It’s not that I hate this theory, as it can make sense, but taking rory from gregory feels like a jk rowling move and that makes me not want to believe.
Maybe it wasnt michael. Maybe William experimented on multiple kids for remnant. I think i remember hearing that Rory saw a screen in the private room about fear levels, but im not sure. If that is true, maybe william was testing on these kids fear to make stronger remnant? And maybe that remnant was injected into Michael? The Scooper blueprints reveal that the scooper injects remnant into things, maybe william got the remnant from the kids he experimented on in fnaf 4, put it in the scooper, and then michael got injected with the remnant, thus giving him memories of fnaf 4. Theyre not his memories, they might be memories of the peoples remnant that got injected into him. Sorry if that made no sense 😂
@@Katsuraage This most likely plausible, The Experiments might also be made for Agony. To Collect Agony. Because the Scooper injecting Remnant implies then that The Funtimes are alive because of Remnant and contain remnant in each and every one of them.
Is it possible that Rory is a stand-in for Michael? That, as punishment for the manslaughter of his other son, William put him through torment with animatronics specifically designed to be nightmarish? If so, then William’s death meant tat while Michael was stuck down there, there would be no way for the nightmare to continue forever, and eventually he’d break free and escape, to eventually undo what his father did. Of course, that would only work if Michael ONLY comes into play after William’s death, so maybe not, but the idea of the nightmares being made to torture Michael and then being re-used for other kids like Rory could still hold some water.
Alone Together shows that Mike is probably having nightmares of the experiments despite having never been experimented himself, because he literally had the remnent of the experimented kids injected into him in SL.@@CommanderDiamond678
what you said about Michael being the player in FNAF4 is an idea being thrown around a LOT in fanfictions and theories, I see a lot of comics and art made that it is the younger brother giving Michael the nightmares as a sort of punishment- a reminder of what he had done which I always thought of as a cool concept since the breakthrough that Michael is the player character in FNAF4 cuz' .... it's just very cool and unintentionally poetic
Nope, fnaf introduced us to soul memories, when mike get scooped and remnant falls inside of him, his younger brother gives one piece of himself, like calton in fouth closest, that is only thing make him alive, so fnaf 4 is memories of the crying child, not vegeance against mike
bruh i'm saying this from the perspective of when it was very unclear although this didn't come across in the comment- whoops what I meant was that I still remember when the MikeDreamer theory was being thrown around before it was agreed as solid fact- this video reminded me a lot of that time and those fanfictions
Wonderful video as always, Ozone! I adore the structure and editing, you're improving so much it's inspiring! I agree with almost everything in that video, yet about Orange guy being connected to Rory... is kinda a stretch I think, I really like Rye's take on this one, that it's more William than anyone else, due to context of the game (how we uncover all the dark past in every corner), context of the time it came out (when it was supposed to end the story) and characters there are so plain and vague you can really add anything. YET amazing job, you're amazing, channel is amazing, everyone's amazing
THANK YOU!!! I'll take that theory on board - as I said Midnight Motorist is still very much up in the air so it's down to what you want to believe I think. The kind words mean a lot, thank you and you're amazing :)
Just wanted to add a ditto (ha) to this point. Rye has a really good video on specifically the Midnight Motorist bit and that's honestly my current feeling on the subject too. So definitely recommend checking that one out :3
honestly, i wish that FNAF 4 was literally just Michael Afton having nightmares after the bite of 83 from Crying Child to show him how he felt when he was alive.
SL is happening after Fnaf 1, without a doubt. There's a certain detail in the story: The police gave up on Rory after a year, but his parents hired private detectives and even made a *website.* Websites weren't a thing before 1991. No matter what, Rory was taken away in the early '90s. The story is happening a decade later, and the funtime animatronics are still there. Also, I think it definitely makes sence for Midnight Motorist to be about one of Afton's victims, because the other two are exactly that.
The WWW came into existence in 1989 not long after the release of _Back To The Future II._ Even so, few people would have heard of the web in 1991 outside of news articles about CERN.
it never added up that the child in the nightmares and the crying child in the minigames were one and the same, to me. Especially from the perspective of a parent wanting to repair their child. Now, someone obsessed with extracting agony and making a kidnapped child's life/night hell, so they could put their spirit in an animatronic? That does make sense. Ultimate custom night still has to be punishment, though - a killer reliving the agony they've inflicted on their victims. It's possible crying child and michael were experimented on and then released; which is why they have recurring nightmares. or perhaps the gas has been able to leak from the facility into the house.
"He ran off to that place AGAIN" Rory never came back from the fnaf 4 house. That kid is not him, and no, he was never abused. I've read the story, and Rory isn't even sure his memories are real, they've at least been manipulated by Afton and at most not even real. Also orange guy has a purple car, "later that night", the family member watching TV who is reminiscent of Michael, and the father not even reacting to the footprints. It's not Rory, it's Afton's household.
Totally agree, although I think the TV person is Michael's mom. The grey is slightly off, they talk more differently and are more compassionate than Michael, and the runaway is probably Mike running to the grave of BV (BV would've been way too cowardly to break the window, and Bill would have no reason to abduct his own kid). I think the MM House is probably the one we see on the FNAF 4 main menu (both out in the woods and belong to Afton), with the area Rory was in being the underground section in the Afton Robotics HQ underneath the town.
@@alpacalover0+the books show how Fredbear's is always a restaurant in the middle of a forest. Just Like JR's in Midnight motorist. And Fredbear's is near the Afton house.

Sorry man I'll have to come back to this after it releases and I've read it. Managed to stay relatively spoiler-free. Thanks for not spreading the leaks weeks in advance :)
While I think it is possible, I doubt that the kid in Midnight Motorist went with William, at least while he was in his Spring Bonnie outfit. I don’t remember exactly where, but it is said in the games that excess moisture can cause the spring locks to fail. It’s raining during the time of Midnight Motorist, so unless it happened several hours before what we see, William couldn’t have worn any spring lock suit without it failing.
What if the crying child's remnant was the remnant infused with Michael via scooper? But then that would mean these "memories of another person" are happening at his current time(after sister location). Hear me out. What if in the entire time Michael was unconscious and hearing circus baby repeating "you won't die", he was having that nightmare? Lmk what you think.
One of the lines from The One You Should Not Have Killed stands out to me now. "This is HOW IT FEELS. And you get to experience it OVER, and OVER, and OVER again... FOREVER... I will never let you leave." As you know, one of the few people who are speculated to be TOYSNHK is the Crying Child, and Andrew. We don't much about Andrew and the events that lead up to his death in June of 1985. And for CC, well... the possibility for him to have gone through the experiments is there. I'm not saying anything for sure, but just putting the idea out there because it IS interesting.
It was actually done by Matthew Curtis, who voiced Afton (or whatever character they were going for) at the start of the Security Breach trailer! Very impressive voice acting :)
AWESOME VIDEO :D i loved this, the editing, and the way you explained everything was so cool. now that we know the truth of fnaf 4, we can maybe figure out what’s in the box:0 ❤
Love your midnight motorist take- always thought it was just someone random, explaining what’s happening for a different angle- glad to see a theorist finally just say it
this feels like scott facepalming that no one had pointed out certain aspects of SL so hes just like "here, heres a book telling you what you should have seen"
Michael Experiencing someone else's memories of being in the facility? What in the morphogenetic field bullshit is this? HAHAHAHAHHAA Great theory btw. I'm totally convinced by your midnight motorist theory. Afton taking advantage of a child's poor homelife gives me the creeps and totally makes sense.
So, the thought of FNaF 4 being an ultimate costume night type nightmare created for Mike by his brother is actually a personal headcanon I've had for a really, really long time. Its interesting to see people start to catch up with my MASSIVE BRAIN lol
1) the crying child is part of the experiment. Every kid we see in the fnaf 4 minigames are part of the experiment. Also the bite of 83 was also an experiment...William clicked a button and the mouth of Fredbear bit the C.C head. 2) Rory is actually the kid with the Freddy mask. Notice how in the fnaf 4 minigames Mike jumpscares the C.C? Thats not Mike, thats a mannequin...in fact his real skin is black (we can see it during the bite of 83) but inside the house the skin is white. Also, when someone is inside a suit or in this case behind a mask, we can see white eyes...but we cant see them when the mannequin "Mike" jumpscares the C.C. Also...when I said Rory is the kid with the Freddy Mask its because during the bite of 83 he has no eyes behind the mask. Thats because the real Rory is in the fnaf 4 house.
What if the crying child was truly tested on, and it was all an allusion, but Michael didn’t know, and he messed everything up by causing the bite of 83’ prompting William to punish him by forcing Michael to take his place?
That’s exactly what I thought, I mean back then he was just a bully with daddy issues who didn’t knew better. And I think that would explain why William didn’t do anything to stop CC’s bullying, rather took advantage of his fear to create more agony, and by extension, remnant.
The more we know the more i believe that everything that happened to these three: Elizabeth, Michael and CC, wasn't a coincidence. I'm telling you, William knew the consequences and yet he kept going forward
Since we think that there are more kids, wouldn’t it be safe to assume that they had all been in the fake Fred bears at one point. Potentially a workshop for the springlock characters. The crying child could have existed. This would also explain to us what he saw. If he was part of these experiments, or was the start of them. He could have seen the mannequins before and afton was asking him if the gas was working to where he forgot.
Yeah, that's a weird looking fish. Always thought it was a caterpillar, too. Either it now being a fish is a retcon or a piece of evidence (among others) that Dittophobia is a parallel, not a 1:1 retelling.
I've seen people complain about the hallucinogenic gas being included. To me, it makes perfect sense. Afton didn't just have the illusion disks, he had to start somewhere before he had a better grasp of the human mind. However, if Sister Location took place after 1993, that would mean Elizabeth wasn't middle child like we thought, but the replacement child after his second of two sons died.
Sorry for a bit of a longer reply: Don't know if I missed something in the video that makes my next question pointless but would it be possible that the events of SL take place after 1993 but Elizabeth died much earlier like we already thought? And would it be possible that the book is telling what happened to Michael but instead of being trapped for 10 years and still going back after almost escaping, Mike got out much earlier and managed to escape. That would make it possible that Mike is the one we play as in most if not all of the games and SL would be able to be earlier making it possible for Mike to be fired for odor. Who knows, maybe the one tease for SL talking about gas leaks was what actually happened, releasing Mike from the torment and allowing everything to happen like I wrote
Two things could point to that being the case: 1) Rory now having a younger sister of about 7 to 9 years old IIRC as told to him by his friend since he's been missing and 2) Abby being Mike's kid sister who looks no older than 8(?) in the upcoming FNAF movie.
The path and the FNAF location are not an experiment. The log book tells us that CC and Michael have both been in the bed room and seen the nightmare animatronics, especially Fredbear and Nightmare meaning the experiments we're originally experiments but were to make sure CC doesn't go near the actual animatronics either for his safety or William's personal reasons.
I don't think MM is about Rory since Dittophobia only tells us that Rory's father was just always busy, which implies he's just neglectful towards Rory, not alcoholic or abusive. IMO, I think MM could be about either Gabriel or Andrew.
Remember, it's simply a parallel, not an exact 1 to 1. Afton was obviously busy building his creations, and he, like Rory's father, paid no mind to their children since they were both really busy. In Afton's case, it was Elizabeth and possibly the Crying Child if this story is anything to go by.
@@whocaresaboutthename6850 Cause that's what they are. There are similarities (PARALLELS) between the books and the games. But they're not 100% the same. However, a connection can still be made.
This only creates more problems for us, though I'm 100% sure the Nightmare animatronics are actually plushies, maybe they're both mannequins and plushies or it could be inconsistency, but there's just so many evidence pointing towards them being plushies, we LITERALLY see them turn into plushies right in front of our eyes. I'm bringing this up because you asked in the video who Nightmare Fredbear is, well, obviously he's the Fredbear plush. We can clearly see through Nightmare Fredbear's voicelines in UCN some similarities with the Fredbear plush, "Let me put you back together, then take you apart all over again", though in that line he was just talking to the player telling him how he's gonna kill him, it was definitely a reference to Fredbear plush's "I will out you back together" from FNAF 4 ending. If that isn't enough, here's another one of Nightmare Fredbear's voice lines "We know who our friends are, and you are NOT one of them", that is clearly a connection to "We are still your friends, do you still believe that" said by the Fredbear plush. That's why Nightmare Fredbear is the main antagonist, that's also why we play as the Crying Child in FNaF 4, because he had a special connection to the Fredbear plush, and usually the protagonist and the antagonist always have an interesting dynamic and a personal connection between each other. It would be weird if we play as Mike since he never had any deep personal connection, not even a simple interaction with the Fredbear plush. I don't think the Logbook changes much, I think Mike had some sort of weird dreams where he kept seeing Nightmare Fredbear as a result of Crying Child haunting him or something like that, kinda similar to that one Forest sequence from the movie trailers, or it could be it wasn't Mike who drew Nightmare Fredbear in the Logbook. Ultimately, there is one more thing I have to point out here, the story has nothing to do with the Pizzaplex or SB despite what the book series is all about. I have one theory which is about the Nightmarionne bots (that's what they're called in the files), not only do they match the description of the mannequins in the story almost perfectly, but also they have "In your dreams" written on their chests, there are also Nightmarionne plushies scattered throughout the building and they're called "Nightmare plush". So we have mannequins and plushies, two things known for turning into Nightmare animatronics, they're all resembling one character, a character we only know as Nightmare animatronic. So is it possible that if we were turn on the Hallucinogenic gas (which most likely IS in the Pizzaplex somewhere), all of those Nightmarionne bots and plushies all of them turn into perhaps multiple Nightmarionnes? That's something I can't seem to figure out but I'd like to see some different perspectives.
I think that Mike was experimented on as some kind of messed up punishment for killing CC. Which would make what we see in the FNAF four game nights an amalgam of PTSD from the experiments and CC haunting his nightmares.
It's can't be mike, because at this moment mike he is taking care of his younger sister, that is very possible being charlie.... I am not joking There highly possible being Charlie or Cassidy
19:00 this is a really good theory.(SPOILERS FOR ALONE TOGETHER) But not only that, in the story that comes before Dittophobia called ‘Alone Together’, in one part the main character’s grandma states that one of the signs you could be haunted by a ghost is by “you start to have funny dreams and flashes of memories that are not yours. It’s like they posses your thoughts when they’re near.” This alone just proves pretty much that this theory is more than likely the answer as to who we play as in Fnaf 4 And also another cool theory I got, wich I don’t see talked about a lot. You know how hand unit mentions that there was a dead body found once in the vent of the elevator in sister location? What if, that was Rory’s body, and the last time he wondered off too far. My guess is that I’m not too sure, maybe he starved to death or just couldn’t anymore. Who really knows, but it’s worth thinking about
I think the Sister Location map showing the FNaF 4 house alongside the other experimentation rooms just highlights where William is utilising cameras or cassette tapes to keep an eye on children, both his own because he’s busy at work and the ones he kidnaps for unknown reasons. I don’t see any reason for William to stick his youngest son in a nightmare simulation for shits n giggles
Dittophobia and Help Wanted (the story) are so similar, it implies that Fazbear Entertainment seems to have copied Afton’s methods against Steve. Which has odd implications.
I have a theory that Afton Robotics rebooted Fazbear Entertainment after FNAF6 and that would explain just about everything in both of these stories and much of the series overall.
About Nightmare Fredbear's comment regarding illusions, one could make the argument that he and other Nightmare Animatronics were. Take a good look at Nightmare. Unlike the others, he is translucent and enough so that you can see his endoskeleton as if the illusion is failing on him.
Good video and theories! I personally always thought that the reason there is a map of the fnaf4 minigame house, was because Afton just wanted all of his "work" places connected and controlled from one spot. Don't think he was doing tests in that house. Can't believe I am using this example but look at it like Dexter's Laboratory, where there is a lab right under the house.
The thing with Rory Midnight Motorist is that Rory didn’t exist until a month ago, while MM had been around for years, so there’s no way that it’s about him unless it’s a retcon
Just something to note, the scooper is said to be a remnant reservoir. Mike suddenly having the memories of other people is...odd without it. The remnant keeps him alive after being scooped, and he gains the memories of those the remnant came from. As for the minimap, yes, that's all fake.
I agree that Dittophobia is clearly made so we can finally understand some things. But there are things that budge me then. 1. Do we play as Michael or CC in fnaf 4 (or maybe both)? 2. Is Rory parallel to CC or Michael, or is he actually canon character in games? 3. Why would William experiment on CC and with what purpose(to scare him? protect him from animatronics? experiment on him?) 5. Would that mean FNaF 4 house (or any other Afton's house), Circus Baby's and Fredbear's/Freddy's are all connected?
If the Crying Child was being tested on and the whole house/pizzeria were to be inside the facility, then would it be right to say that the Foxy bro is NOT Michael?
What if the crying child was the original experiment victim but when he died William had to find a new victim for his experiments so he just snatched a kid from the observatory neighbourhood
I predicted this years ago. I also have a video theorizing that the FNAF 4 neighborhood is like a test facility for the restaurants. The children living there think it's a real neighborhood. They are maybe even the MCU kids....when they grow up they take different roles like security guard. Which is why the MCU names match the security guard names. And why there is ONE who should not have been killed.
The fnaf 4 gameplay could have been made to torment Michael. Putting him in his brother's shoes with the minigame and tormenting him with the nightmares and plushtrap. That being the reason he drew Nightmare Fredbear.
Orange guy definitely not Afton. I’m not convinced Rory is the kid in it though, otherwise why wouldn’t they include abuse in his backstory? I think orange guy is a parent of one of the missing children’s incident kids, as per the ultimate custom night cutscenes where Chica says ‘I told him to come over. And if he doesn’t, I’ll just go to his house. And if he doesn’t answer the door, I’ll just go to a window”

He made so many victims and was punished for it, even his own creations turned on him.
ucn is not hell
The animatronics being mannequins on a track reminds me of the first Jack-O-Bonnie teaser, where he looked weirdly... lifeless

Technically all the connections with Dittophobia makes with Sister Location was all already knowledge we are given in Sister Location, all the story does is just blatantly spell it out for us
But isn't the gas leak a coverup for Elizabeth's death?
this isn't really even a theory.
I think, with these experiments, William is trying to discover and record the fear that HIS son was experiencing before the Bite of '83.
He had his hypotheses during his post-Elizabeth experiments.
Absolutely fantastic video Ozone. The wait for another masterpiece has been worth it.

@@UnavailableRUclipsChannel
First of all, calm down, it’s just speculation.
It would be CRAZY if the crying child was experimented on, because that would give so much clarity to the line "Remember what you saw."
Actually this its very possible, its could explain Gregory
common leyendecker fan w
It’s not that I hate this theory, as it can make sense, but taking rory from gregory feels like a jk rowling move and that makes me not want to believe.
After all this years, we were wrong
This is well put and was my takeaway as well
@@Katsuraage
This most likely plausible, The Experiments might also be made for Agony.

It’s likely that Michael still experiences the nightmares in adulthood because of how traumatic they were.
Alone Together shows that Mike is probably having nightmares of the experiments despite having never been experimented himself, because he literally had the remnent of the experimented kids injected into him in SL.@@CommanderDiamond678
That makes a lot more sense then William abducting a random kid and gassing him

what you said about Michael being the player in FNAF4 is an idea being thrown around a LOT in fanfictions and theories, I see a lot of comics and art made that it is the younger brother giving Michael the nightmares as a sort of punishment- a reminder of what he had done
which I always thought of as a cool concept since the breakthrough that Michael is the player character in FNAF4 cuz' .... it's just very cool and unintentionally poetic
Blud still thinks MikeDreamer is just a Theory and not a fact somehow
Nope, fnaf introduced us to soul memories, when mike get scooped and remnant falls inside of him, his younger brother gives one piece of himself, like calton in fouth closest, that is only thing make him alive, so fnaf 4 is memories of the crying child, not vegeance against mike
bruh i'm saying this from the perspective of when it was very unclear
although this didn't come across in the comment- whoops
what I meant was that I still remember when the MikeDreamer theory was being thrown around before it was agreed as solid fact- this video reminded me a lot of that time and those fanfictions
"I will put you back together" has a different meaning now. Maybe its kid talking to the machines. "I will fix the machines and get them working"
honestly, i wish that FNAF 4 was literally just Michael Afton having nightmares after the bite of 83 from Crying Child to show him how he felt when he was alive.
The WWW came into existence in 1989 not long after the release of _Back To The Future II._ Even so, few people would have heard of the web in 1991 outside of news articles about CERN.
this fits really well and the holes are a lot smaller than other explanations we have for all of this, this story is a wild one for sure
What if the phone you hear in fnaf 4 is just a really muffled version of the tape replaying again and again
it never added up that the child in the nightmares and the crying child in the minigames were one and the same, to me.
"He ran off to that place AGAIN"
Rory never came back from the fnaf 4 house.

Well William didn’t kill him Michael did, and Mike definitely Isn’t UCN’s protagonist

Genuinely amazing video and I'm very on board with a lot of the ideas you presented here! Excited to see what this means for the series
Really cool, glad to see the video qnd decent recap of the story!
I don't think the map of the outside means it's all fake, I think that's just a layout of the cameras he has installed via the fredbear plushes.
Yeah, I don't care what it says that thing has antennae. It sure as hell isn't any kind of fish. I always thought it was a caterpillar myself.
Or Elizabeth never met her brothers and lived in a different house ?
The path and the FNAF location are not an experiment. The log book tells us that CC and Michael have both been in the bed room and seen the nightmare animatronics, especially Fredbear and Nightmare meaning the experiments we're originally experiments but were to make sure CC doesn't go near the actual animatronics either for his safety or William's personal reasons.
Dittophobia shows Afton started kidnapping kids and putting them through this experimentation, so your statement doesn't add up.
Personal reasons, I bet personal reasons.
@@fenrirslipno one said it's a parallel..?
@@fenrirslipBlud somehoe still belives that Tales is just a parallel
@@Foxy_Gamer64 Well, I consider it one.
Ive ALWAYS said they were not Aftons. Ive also said that Mike and Elizabeth may not actually be Williams kids, that he may have kidnapped them
I think that Mike was experimented on as some kind of messed up punishment for killing CC. Which would make what we see in the FNAF four game nights an amalgam of PTSD from the experiments and CC haunting his nightmares.
It's can't be mike, because at this moment mike he is taking care of his younger sister, that is very possible being charlie....
I am not joking
There highly possible being Charlie or Cassidy

19:00 this is a really good theory.(SPOILERS FOR ALONE TOGETHER) But not only that, in the story that comes before Dittophobia called ‘Alone Together’, in one part the main character’s grandma states that one of the signs you could be haunted by a ghost is by “you start to have funny dreams and flashes of memories that are not yours. It’s like they posses your thoughts when they’re near.” This alone just proves pretty much that this theory is more than likely the answer as to who we play as in Fnaf 4
And also another cool theory I got, wich I don’t see talked about a lot. You know how hand unit mentions that there was a dead body found once in the vent of the elevator in sister location? What if, that was Rory’s body, and the last time he wondered off too far. My guess is that I’m not too sure, maybe he starved to death or just couldn’t anymore. As much as I no longer care about fnaf's story due to how they messed it up. This story from the book is pretty damn lit.
The four lights at the diner might be connected to the lights in the fun time auditorium?
Certainly the two most difficult things to decipher are: Midnight Motorist and the author of the phrase "I WILL PUT YOU BACK TOGETHER".
About Nightmare Fredbear's comment regarding illusions, one could make the argument that he and other Nightmare Animatronics were. Take a good look at Nightmare. Unlike the others, he is translucent and enough so that you can see his endoskeleton as if the illusion is failing on him.
Not back at the “we play as Michel Afton in FNAF 4 again!!!” Great theory though
I’m gonna be honest I just finished the Siri. I think it’s actually pretty valid.
11:20 rory thinks hes breaking the loop, but its just part of a bigger loop
Like nier automata
Good video and theories! I personally always thought that the reason there is a map of the fnaf4 minigame house, was because Afton just wanted all of his "work" places connected and controlled from one spot. Don't think he was doing tests in that house. Can't believe I am using this example but look at it like Dexter's Laboratory, where there is a lab right under the house.
i think its funny that rory is a nickname for gregory
It can’t be William wearing Springbonnie outside the window in midnight motorist because it’s raining and he would get springlocked
He could've dom it before the rain started, it's not that hard
It could've just rained after he left, easy as that
@@Personian Yeah like, William kidnapping a id in their house is literally implied by in UCN Lmao, i don't think it needs to be more clear then that
Also cant belive u got Matthew curtis to voice act that.
I think the mini game map is supposed to be the real world. Afton Robotics is under the Afton house and is accessible through Fredbear’s diner.
The thing with Rory Midnight Motorist is that Rory didn’t exist until a month ago, while MM had been around for years, so there’s no way that it’s about him unless it’s a retcon
Looking back at it now, it seems so obvious
Just something to note, the scooper is said to be a remnant reservoir. Mike suddenly having the memories of other people is...odd without it. The remnant keeps him alive after being scooped, and he gains the memories of those the remnant came from. As for the minimap, yes, that's all fake.
7:02-9:20 weird, yet fitting choice of soundtrack 😅 (I won't spoil it but that was a good chapter in a good game that was hugely underrated)
Ok, with that last theory, I’m way more confident that the games and books are just parallel
They... aren't a parallel. Dittophobia can very well take place in the games without causing confusion.
@@Personian nah but fr shut the hell up

I agree that Dittophobia is clearly made so we can finally understand some things. But there are things that budge me then.
1. Do we play as Michael or CC in fnaf 4 (or maybe both)?
2. Is Rory parallel to CC or Michael, or is he actually canon character in games?
3. Why would William experiment on CC and with what purpose(to scare him? protect him from animatronics? experiment on him?)
5. Would that mean FNaF 4 house (or any other Afton's house), Circus Baby's and Fredbear's/Freddy's are all connected?
I actually fully agree with the theory that midnight motorist is about a separate family and their child running away to the sister location facility
Yeah this story is really something special. Great video Ozone
So, you think william killed charlie and “later that night” he goes to capture the child from orange mans house?
Really well done video. Lots to think about.
If the Crying Child was being tested on and the whole house/pizzeria were to be inside the facility, then would it be right to say that the Foxy bro is NOT Michael?
I wonder what’ll happen to him when the gas finally runs out and/or the cassette doesn’t play for some reason.
Now let’s just hope we get an another amazing series
man, i just miss it when fnaf 4 was just a kid's nightmares
What if the crying child was the original experiment victim but when he died William had to find a new victim for his experiments so he just snatched a kid from the observatory neighbourhood
I predicted this years ago. I also have a video theorizing that the FNAF 4 neighborhood is like a test facility for the restaurants. The children living there think it's a real neighborhood. They are maybe even the MCU kids....when they grow up they take different roles like security guard. Which is why the MCU names match the security guard names. And why there is ONE who should not have been killed.
Well, the Nightmares technically look like their illusion forms, but they're just less... "Animated."
FINALLY the case can be (pretty much) closed on the confusing mess that was FNaF 4's lore
This story is the plot of Help wanted 2. Based on the few things we have seen in the demo footage from PAX.
I still think that midnight motorist is still about the afton's
Remember when everyone hated this idea bc no one liked using the twisted ones for theories or illusion disc
The fnaf 4 gameplay could have been made to torment Michael. Putting him in his brother's shoes with the minigame and tormenting him with the nightmares and plushtrap. That being the reason he drew Nightmare Fredbear.
I don't think he tormenting mike, but mike is having memories of the crying child
Its only possible Being William afton and mrs afton or henry emily
@@darkpain2452 William Afton is purple my guy. And Mrs. Afton doesn’t have proof of even existing. I hadn’t heard people thinking it was Henry, it doesn’t really like up with his character but it is interesting. The trouble with that is that Henry didn’t have a son.
@@EchosinfireifyIn the trilogy, Charlie has a twin brother called Sammy. The theory that the yellow guy represents Henry includes the concept of Sammy also existing in the games (currently unconfirmed, but would be nice)
@@almightykellus2585 When I read those books I was under the impression that Charlie misremembered her time before the real Charlie died, those are her memories of being the robot doll and spending all her time with the real Charlie.
@@almightykellus2585 that Sammy was just a way of dealing with the fact that she’s always been a robot and she remembers the real Charlie as a sibling, instead of just being Charlie’s doll before her death. Her ‘remembering’ that Sammie died young is actually her just remembering the death of Charlie, because she was there as Charlie’s doll
