Appreciate it man. Not only did this teach me some stuff about breaths, but it also taught me about declicking. Before this, I was going into the individual wavelengths in edison and triming them to where the wavelength ended and started in the same spot. your method is much easier AND more effective.
I always thought this was so much harder, tbf my Audio Interface doesn't work properly with FL (I think I need a headset with an adapter) but I have been putting off learning how to record in FL cause I started with Audacity and it's super easy to reduce the noise of the breathe or whatever plus I have been recording my vocals then mixing it in FL since like 2020 (Maybe a year or so beforehand but I found my 'style' or whatever in 2020) but the past year maybe 2 I've found it harder to write and feel better at freestyling / punching in which I feel would be easier on FL (I also thought the plug-in 'Edison' was what I had to use to take the breathing out, not sure why I thought this probably from when I was just exploring what all the plug-in's were. The whole mixing process kind of made me drove me insane / lose motivation as I felt I could be doing better so I have recorded probably less songs the past 2 years than I did in 2021 and deffo more are just either rough on Audacity or cleaned up in Audacity but not mixed) I'm getting some new headphones which hopefully come with the adapter and they don't need to be charged to use wired like Beats Studio headphones lmao

This great man. Never knew this. I've learnt something completely new. Thanks lifesaver!
You the goat fr gonna finally be able to deliver better vocals on my singles !! appreciat3 u and subscribed
you can also make cuts in the audio before creating an automation clip so that your clip is only focused on that small portion of the audio.
or select it with the red sogn selection thing
This helps a lot thanks my guy I’m a independent artist and learning to engineer my own music!
Hey great tutorial! How did you change the position of the cut with your mouse? What keys did you press?
Holding Shift+Alt will get you into a free selection mode so you can cut anywhere. Holding just Shift will cut on Grid. Peace
@@faraitheprod thanks
this is exactly what i was looking for thanks so much, been trying to cut in free mode for 45 minutes now lol

thanks man! very good
Nice tutorial. Thanks.
Clear explanation. Thanks! What about using a gating plugin? I don't have too much experience with it.
It makes the performance unreal and not coming from a human being
Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it.
Thank you man, much love from Romania kisssssss
What's that beat in the video? IT'S SO GOOD!
amazing bro you saved the life bro
Thank you man ...it helped me ..so much 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾🔥🔥
do you suggest editing the breaths first before adding some EQs and compressors?
Yes sir. Clean up your tracks and then start processing. EQ and compression will always bring out any noise, unwanted sounds etc. peace
Aye, this was so helpful my man! Thanks a lot. Just Subscribed :)
thanks g

I always used to use De Breath from Waves but this seems. like a better idea.
Yeah that’s a good plugin but it’s super heavy on latency and delay. Thanks for tuning in broski 🌊👌
