I'm considering purchasing the 210 for the shop and I see this video was posted 2015, it 2020 now, how did this welder fare over time? repairs? positives? negatives? how's spool gun? thanks for the review
Great review.. Mine is on it's way! My choice was between the Lincoln 225 and this machine, my expert references highly recommended the Miller over the Lincoln for my circumstances, parts availability seems to favor Miller...
bought a used 210 for $1300 with size T tank, extra filler rods and flex torch kit, wondering if I got a bad deal? It looks pretty nice, some scratches on the top, it says 14 hours and 5k cycles on the menu, seems like it was put to work, think 14 hours means straight welding hours?! it appears to have the software update for 60-150 hz and 150 pps. Is this unit reliable, do I have to worry that some part may take a crap?
The only thing Miller screwed up on with the 210 is they didn't build this with the function of being able to adjust the Frequency. That is an Awesome function on a Tig Machine. Especially on A/C doing Aluminum. Good informative Video!
Hey there great review!! How would you rate the MIG welding on this machine? I have welded at my auto fab shop with their welder and considering buying this machine as my first, but in thought I’ll be using mostly MIG for auto body panels and some frame work, the tig for more fine interior detailed pieces. Would the 150 work well I’m my application? Any other welder recommendations??
Great review! I have been vacillating between the Lincoln Precision TIG® 225 TIG Welder Ready-Pak® w/Cart - K2535-2 and this Miller Machine. Thoughts on comparisons if you done any? I heard in the video you like this over the Precision 275 which is even larger. Great points.
I have lots of experience with the precision tig 225. It is a great machine and they are both very similar. I would stay away from the square wave 175 though.
Thank you going welder shopping soon. I have made up my mind that a TIG welder which can weld aluminum and has the capacity to doing a great job of stick welding is the way to go. Now it is which one and which brand?
I am not trying to blame you for this but I watched this video before I bought the same machine and you mentioned that the torch had a flex head and I believed you. After a couple of times of me adjusting the angle of the "flex head" torch it snapped and I asked my supplier why that happen and they told me that it is not a flex head torch. What made you think it was a flex head and have realized that it is not?
tannerithink Well i read online that it is a flex head and no I have no realized that it is not because I have flexed it many times without fail. I guess I will look into this though so I dont break it.
You "MIGHT" actually get some views of your video if you actually spelled SYNCROWAVE corrently. It's right on the front of the machine lol. No H in it at all, look at it.......look again. Don't waste time making vidoes people will never see because you spelled the name of the item wrong.
Thanks Luke, Nate hooked me up with the Syncrowave 210. great machine...Welding Supplies from IOC. customer service was great!
Good video, straight up. Mine is on a purolator truck and I'm gobbling up info ASAP. Well done, relevant and succinct information. 👍
The SD card is for running the Spool gun Setup .. FYI
I was just at the plant where they make the 210 this last week.

Thanks Luke for the info. I took your advice and bought one.
Thanks for the review. I still looking around for a good all around tig welder and this is a strong contender.
Thanks Luke, great review

How well does the Spoolmate 100 work for MIG function?

Had it 8 months and it took a crap. Sent it in and control board went bad. Repair guy said these are known for bad bords.

It has pulse adjustment

I would choose something else for MIG. This is a tig machine and without significant adaptation wouldn't run mig.
Will this be good for welding aluminum wheels?
Try running 2% lanthanated tungsten it runs aluminum so much better
Nice job Miller!
Can you weld 3/8 aluminum plates with the syncrowave 210. You know two plates with a beble and with an aluminium backing strip.
Carlos Rodriguez I believe the capacity of this machine is 1/4." Maybe you can get away with a few passes?
+J Schlesinger Yes, the capacity of the Syncrowave 210 is 1/4 Inch capacity for both Aluminum and Steel.
Great review!

Captainsparkles subbed you on his vloging channel
The company rag says 22 A at full power on a 230-V circuit. You said 30 A and I suspect it's because you have a 30-A plug, like me.
Exactly!
Nice vid
Hi , i am from el salvador .not here programations muy equiment.
Anyone else have a hard time trusting a review from a guy on a dirt floor with his abrasive wheel chop saw aimed at his firewood wall? Just sayin'
You’re a jackass, and it shows in your ignorant comment!
AC buzz boxes are for chumps, I rather have this welder, anyday.
