Are there different types or perhaps better water filters for this refrigerator? The water coming out of my refrigerator right now is 169 ppm and I don’t like that and before anybody asked yes I have replaced the water filter recently
Hello, Fridge Filter doesn't treat water for hardness. That is Water Softener's are for. Water filter are mainly to lower the amount contaminants such as lead, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Thats why the ppm is high even with new Water Filter.
Hello Kayla, Filter sign must reset automatically. Please remove the plug in and restart the fridge. Also, please dispense about 12 litre of water, this may reset the sign. As per the manual, filter sign stays ON, if filter is not installed correctly. So please double check that as well. Thanks

Is there any known reason that replacing the water filter wouldn't reset the light. Mine is still on post replacement?

How did you remove the air filter lid to get of the foam upon initial setup?
Did you HAVE to pull fridge out to replace filter??
No, its not necessary. Unless you want to shut off water connection if its located in the back.
Absolutely do nit have to pull out fridge and shut off water.

@@johnjohnston1022 Yes, there is only one Water Filter, it filters for water dispenser and ice maker. But also there is Air Filter.
