The Green Party in the USA is a huge disappointment. The GOP has been killing the U.S. "Left" since the time of Reagan and has done so by going small, building a grassroots movement. Ironically, there is no grassroots plan within the Green Party US. What's the Green Party US's plan to win the dreaded Electoral College? Remember Ross Perot? He received over 18.9% of the popular vote back in 1992 but did not receive a single Electoral vote. Sadly, American citizens are hostages to the corporate winner-take-all two-party system. Until that system is structurally changed, outside parties and independents have no shot at the White House whatsoever. Vote strategically with harm reduction in mind rather than political perfection. Protest votes are only advisable in solid red or blue states. If you live in a swing/purple state please strongly consider voting for the lesser evil of the two very old Boomer men we are stuck with.
