    I lived in the area of Moncton at the time (I was still in high school). It was a pretty scary time.
    A few things to add. All the murders were horrendous. The sexual assaults were brutal and I was shocked that Mrs. Gelendening (the first victims) lived after what they did to her.
    Also the lady who got away with the taxi driver in the snowstorm, the one with the extra set of keys, she was an off duty police officer.

    • @brendamcdonall5798
      @brendamcdonall5798 Месяц назад

      Because in Canada we don't have natural life sentences. The convicted person is given a " life" sentence with a stipulation of a specific number of years before they are eligible to apply for parole. After that, it's up to the Parole Board how long the convicted stays in prison or if they are imprisoned until they die.

    I’m pleasantly surprised that the policeman was willing to take a third DNA test after the private investigator obtained a sample from him and the results were positive. I didn’t see that coming, as I believe most policemen would have refused to go any further, and would have said the case was closed. He’s a good cop, and a real man.
    She was amazing, just refusing to let him get away with it!
    Six years? SIX “6” YEARS!!! FOR RAPING HIS PATIENT!!!! Oh man, Canada is a joke. That woman is going to feel the pain of the rape for the rest of her life.
    What about HIS DAUGHTER? Not a stepdaughter, but his flesh and blood! I was hoping he got like 15-20 years, considering the nature of the crime. The rape, obstructing justice, attacking a patient, HIS PATIENT, in a hospital! If he’d have gotten enough time, than I could see not charging him for raping his own flesh and blood. That shoulda been 20. Now, I believe they need to try him for raping his daughter. Knowing Canada, he would have gotten the two sentences run concurrent, instead of consecutively, giving him the rape of his daughter, for free. Ugh. Canada.

    What a sleezy mutt, those children and young ladies are now living a life of fear and dread of what might happen, no one has the right to instill that life on anybody. The situation involving his step-daughter is particularly horrendous, that animal is a Doctor, someone who people go to for medical help and advice, trust is essential and the fact that he took on the role of husband, father and above all protector, betrayal is what he practiced but by persistence the young mother got the mutt and is to be congratulated for repairing her reputation .

    Why, of course, it had to be Satan, using a human, to find these religious people & murder them... but why wouldn't God protect them? Why wouldn't he protect his most loyal people? This is why faith never makes sense to me, though I suppose the Devil might be manifesting the witchcraft of logic in my mind.

      And now that I've seen the rest of that case, I'll add that there were no devils involved, only social problems, poverty, racism, addiction, male violence, etc, & if we could work together towards changing circumstances for MORE people, we'd see less of this. We KNOW that, because we have the evidence of that happening everywhere we do that.

      What an oxymoron, witches don’t believe in the devil or Satan. Seems you like making up stuff as well. @nicolasschoonback not only do you not know about Christianity, you also don’t know about paganism or witchcraft.

      Alan Legere looks like he was bad from his beginnings. His own mother said he should have died, instead of his brother. Some people are born bad or easily go bad due to environment, even sometime from a head wound when young.
