- Hello and welcome to the ULTIMATE Honeymoon Vlog in The Amalfi Coast!
This was the first stop on our honeymoon, and the second Italian stop. We started in Sorrento just for the night, so we quickly explored Sorrento and a highlight was the restaurant Casa Tua. We then took the ferry to Amalfi of the Amalfi Coast which would be our "home" base for 4 nights. We loved the restaurant Donna Stella for the BEST pizza under lemon trees, and pasticceria Andrea Panda, From there we explored Positano and Ravello, which we loved so much. Ristorante Il Tridente was a restaurant highlight in Positano, and Osteria Ravello was a restaurant highlight in Ravello. We loved Ravello so much, we went back for a second night, and saw this beautiful concert at Villa Ruffolo. The muncheimer Philharmoniker played an unforgettable concert, and this was a definite highlight. The day before we saw Villa Cimbrone, and we cannot say enough good things about this villa, it is truly breathtaking, and we loved our time exploring this incredible villa. Then after our 4 nights in this wonderful airbnb which I will link below, we spent 1 night in Minori & Maiori at this hotel Villa Isabella. The highlight was having our great breakfasts at Pasticceria Sal de Riso. We loved the beach town vibes of Minori and Maiori, as you can see we had a lovely time!

Be prepared to walk up nearly 200 steps, but the views are lovely, and it is very spacious.

Ravello is also one of my favorites places on the Amalfi Coast. We were married there in June 2011, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Nice video. I've been going to Positano and the Amalfi Coast since 1985. A lot less crowded and much more affordable. I still go though.

Great video! I plan to go on 14 day trip to Amalfi coast in September. From Rome to Naples (visiting Vesuvius and Pompei), then further to Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello (Villa Ciambrone and Villa Rufolo) and back to Rome. It is a quite expensive trip but it is worth it to see at least once in a lifetime!

Anyone visiting Sorrento I highly recommend sunset cocktails at Grand Hotel Favorita, rooftop pool bar with amazing views just off piazza tazza and down past the restaurant you guys had the taster menu. It’s unreal

Can you give me the details on how I can get tickets for the Ravello concert? I googled extensively and still don’t have a concert schedule with times or how to buy tickets. I will be there during the concert series and def want to see a show bc of your vlog.
Aw thank you so much! That makes me really happy ☺️ Great question about the concert tickets, after reading your request I googled myself and had trouble! I asked my husband if he has the email of our purchase history because after seeing the concert event we went home that night and bought tickets for the next day. www.etes.it this is the website in his email. It could be that it’s simply too early for the summer concerts right now to pre-order, so keep checking back. They take place in Villa Rufolo also, so be sure to include that in your search. I hope this is helpful! I know they also have a ticket office close to the Villa where you can purchase tickets, so in the worst case you can try to visit early. 🙏🫶

Loved your tour, and we are visiting in October 2024. Curious how you moved between Ravello and Amalfi City after dinner and in the darkness - did you still have bus or ferry service you can use later into the evening hours! Ciao!
Thank you! Yes. Though in the summer months there may be more frequent and later busses. Ravello has no ferry, you need to take the bus from Amalfi to Ravello which is inexpensive and very easy. The last bus came at 11:30pm I believe, but double check for the October months. The bus drivers will tell you when in doubt 😊
Lovely vlog….Amalfi,Positano, and Ravello are simply stunning!!!!! I’m curious..is it pretty easy to get around? I’m one that gets completely lost so I’m curious if Google maps is pretty helpful out there😅
Haha yes it’s quite easy, and google maps work very well! I find they work well all over Italy, except for Venice where they sometimes lose connection through the narrow streets. Amalfi is very small, pretty hard to get lost there lol! You will love it there, especially Ravello 🥹🥰

Yes, delizia al limone or lemon delight in English. It is so yummy, a soft lemony cake with light whipped cream 😍
Pasticceria Panda is much better than Sal d Riso. And I prefer Gambaradella to Sal di Rico when in Minori.

Please do not feed ice cream to cats. Ice cream is primarily made of cream, which cats shouldn't have due to being lactose intolerant. Sugar is another major ingredient, which is just as bad for cats as it is for us. Additionally many ice creams have added ingredients, some of which are toxic for cats.
I know this is word for word from google because we googled this too, but we couldn’t provide water for them from that distance, and the only thing available was ice cream. I believe having it that one time would have done no harm, the poor mom was very hungry. Hopefully that helps. & Italian gelato doesn’t have the same added gums and thickeners that ice cream has. Hopefully much less toxic 🙏
Ingas - Ice Cream is not good for humans as well but we still eat it. Would be better to concentrate on the great travel content that this lovely couple have given us.
