I really like the sleek, clean lines of this and love the bathroom. The permanent sink w foldble faucet is the perfect addition, and laundry chute is a handy feature. Easy to add a shelf for a basket to open up space for storage under it. The split kitchen is more than fair trade off to allow for the extra captain chair space. Thanks for sharing this!
@DavidHuffTexas: Me, too: I don't want ANY Class B on a Sprinter chassis. Or a diesel. Ford Transit/gas is my preference with anything on a Pro Master chassis a distant second. Anything with the outrageously overpriced (as it's always been) "Mercedes Benz Sprinter" isn't even on my list. -- BR
This is a nice van. Finally, a nice rear bath with a real sink. Good water storage capacity too. People don’t get as car suck when facing forward-the Captain chairs are a plus. Others usually have someone facing another direction. Well done.
Thank you for showing this video. I really like this van and I am interested in buying it. I am having trouble finding the website where I can see the price in the specs and possibly set up a time where I can go and see Van. Could you help me with that? Thank you.
I like the interior colors! Finally the American RV industries has caught up on the European design! Unfortunately Scott that is about it. I watched the video twice to make sure I was not missing anything, but sometime I wonder if the people who design these RVs and those who approve such designs ever use them themselves. Where to start? The split mini kitchen seem to have no drawers, nor flip up counter tops. The controls are above the kitchen ( where one should be able to store food and spices). Where do you put your trash? The beds seems small for twins, which means one may have to make the entire bed up every night, than climb out of it to use the bathroom. The bathroom sink is also in an awkward spot where you will hit your head in the closet handles while using it to brush your teeth. And what about a medicine cabinet or a mirror? Where are they? Or where can you put them? And finally the “laundry shot” seems like a good way to have your hanging clothes fall in a hole where you cannot reach them unless you go outside, and like you mentioned during filming, it would require a shelf and /or a basket immediately. There is a reason why people convert van themselves and van conversion companies are so popular, it may be that the those designers actually use them. Unfortunately people who have never owned an RV before get talked into buying poorly designed ( and in some cases also poorly manufactured) RVs because they look good at first sight and no one is pointing out all the faults to them. They find them out after they own the RV and either live with them or have to start fixing them as they go. I wish there were more videos pointing out what is missing rather than what is there. I don’t have time to leave comments like this every time someone shows a new RV 😜 - Jokes aside -sorry for sounding so negative but we chose to convert our own Sprinter in 2018 because we could not find an RV that was well though out and in the process I learned a lot. Honestly I am tired of these companies that keep putting out “new” designs full of compromises and this video is a great example of that, so I could not hold back. 😊
Interesting layout. Great hidden find. They make a great class C (B+) camper in the Ultra Brougham series, much like the Leisure Travel Vans. Isn't Kyles's RV a Regency? 4 seater is too long at 170". It won't fit a standard parking space like the 159 Promaster. I like the bath, hate the kitchen. This is more for touring rather than camping. Only 400Ah batteries is limiting, Benz also does not allow an engine autostart for recharging. I actually like the Xalta Touring 22 better for travel. The rear step is a good idea.
Fridge, to small. Does it sleep four? If so where/how? When the bed is made in the rear lounge it blocks access to the rear bathroom. The TV cable is a bit messy. It's all subjective right? But I will keep on looking. Keep up the good work.
You are right. There is no kitchen!!😂 Also the builder didn’t seem to want show how the bed came together or what was under it that you would be sleeping on. Is it an eco boost? Do we buy a van and he builds it out or what. Thanks for trying to show it because I was sold before I read the comment about no kitchen.
Scott may I ask you a question? Why do you pick a van over a truck camper? Just curious- It seams it’s more of a logical pick to do a truck camper bc a van will wear out eventually.Versus a truck at least you can replace but still keep the camper to fit a new one? I’m thinking convenience more than thrift minded when it comes to the purchase
I was looking for a Sprinter 170 4x4 van conversion for the past two years and had been in contact with Jeff fox at Regency planning on getting the other layout on the Sprinter 170 with bunk bed when this model came out. As we know manufactures mostly focus on the 144's. I was going to pull the trigger and get this RB model in July but found out Regency went out of business. Phone number don't work and website is no longer reachable. They had a unique niche with the Sprinter 170 vans. Hopefully another manufacture steps into this market with something similar.
WRONG! Regency RV is very much in business making great coaches. www.RgencyRV.com to see their site and call McClains RV in Fort Worth Texas to get the latest on their Regency RV inventory
What about bug screens? The problem I have is gripe about Regency for those of us that live in Ft. Worth. They don't deal directly with the buyer, even with warranty work. You have to go through the pesky RV dealer!
It's a no for me. 4 big dislikes: 1) That particle board cabinet in front of the bathroom sink is going to get all soaked and eventually break apart from water intrusion after few months. Same thing will happen around the shower even though there's a shower curtain around it 2) Don't even know why he's trying to show off that reclining feature on the 2nd row captain seat. It looked like he can't even recline it far enough to actually be comfortable without hitting the front seat. Very gimmicky 3) Speaking of gimmicks, that laundry shoot is a waste of a good storage area and... 4) being able to move the TV from inside to that outside bracket. Zzzzz.... There's no bug screen on that sliding door. If somebody installs one later, I guess this movable TV feature is no longer possible...unless you watch the TV through the bug screen It's not clear how you can sleep 4 in this thing either. He didn't even want to show how those two benches fold down to make one bed.
Nope. No open windows in the back. You can travel with 4 but sleep maybe 2? That space would have been better with a seat and table. No screens on the door or windows? I didn't even like the bath--that little standing space would make it hard to sit down without your feet dangling.
Ya know, I've seen a million vids about van RVs. Some are fantastic in design, but then comes the price. It's just NOT feasable for the average American to afford ANY of these vans. Unless of course, they're rich or willing to go into debt, maybe sell everything they own to even come close to affording it. Sad but true. No design is worth it, honestly.
Well there’s a kitchen sink, a refrigerator, a microwave, and some counter space which I assume either flips up or there’s a pull out stovetop stored somewhere.

There are some clever design choices in that RV. Be nice if it was offered on the Ford Transit platform, don't want to pay Sprinter maint costs 😁
Thx David

Perfect! I've been looking for a rv for just traveling, not camping or living.
Sadly, that company went out of business
Love it! I would go for the 144" chassis model. Diesel too! Love it Scott! Great overview! Thanks!

Thanks for the tour of a new choice in the Class B market!
You bet
Getting it in 4x4 would be awesome
Thx for that. Sadly Regency RV is out of business
@@gosmall.livelarge They filed for chapter 11 restructuring. Did they file for chapter 7 now?

This brand is so underrated it’s shocking! ❤
Rear baths not really a fan, but like the openness.

Not sure. And sadly Regency RV has gone out of
Perfect!! Exactly what I was hoping someone would make!! I love it!! Send me more information!
Cool
If you have seats for 4, where do you sleep the other two?
In a tent outside? LoL

Great design! ~ Neal & Britt (personal account 😂)
Neal!!
Great review. Great layout for a rear bathroom. Still prefer the Travato G style floor plan.
Right on
Nice one
Yes
My perfect plan, seat the family with back bathroom ( no more cooking and pooping next to each other)
LOL
Id much rather get the model with the bench/beds.

hey there guy in the blue shirt, why didn't you show me the bed put together?
Hi Caroline
plumbing and water tanks? are the tanks and water lines underneath the van or inside the van. we want a 4 season van we will be living in montana.
Sadly this RV company went bankrupt

It's actually more like a barn door. It's certainly not a pocket door.

Same old floorplan...NO for me...but I do like the finishes...What about power?
Has a Spark lithium system
Remove the seat behind the driver, make kitchen bigger with convection oven, then I would like more
