Keep honey bottle in the refrigerator and check after a day. If you find white residue at the bottom it's the added sugar settling down. Dabur and Patanjali have too much sugar added like half of the bottle is filled with sugar. Patanjali Gulkand is also half sugar, do the same with it.

Competition babu bhaiya competition... The Indian brands are more likely adulterated in every other forms and they do not meet the international standards of countries of USA and European union. The foreign brands rarely survive in india because of heavy import duties. That's why it is one of the reason why India forbid to join RCEP. and other free trade agreement with countries. Agar bahar ki companies market m aayegi aache productd leke to dabur patanjali jaisi companies ko puchega kaun. And presently they are big source of taxes and sources of funds to parties in india.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to share a quick update regarding the honey video. Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) India recently conducted a detailed investigation on Honeys in India. It was surprising to see that even Zandu has failed the NMR test as per their reports, which had clearly passed when I got it tested. It’s hard to clearly know what happened but it’s safe to say that two different batches of the same brand can produce different results. Even in their report two different samples (refer the image) of ‘Nature's Necture’ Honey passed and failed at the same time.
As consumers we cannot just test every batch before buying it. I guess the only solution now left for us, until the Government mandates the NMR testing for each batch of honey produced, is to find and switch to reliable local beekeepers as there is no guarantee that future batches of the same brand that have passed the test now would not fail.

All in all, I have mixed feelings. On one side, I am a bit disheartened to see that the video did not meet the expectations even after the time and energy that went into it. On the other hand, I am happy that various bodies are now looking into honey adulteration more seriously which will ultimately be good for us consumers in the long run.
