This video just popped into my feed. Damn I'm glad it did I have rusa deer in my back yard every night and have been struggling to come up with a idea to get a arrow in one. Looks like I'm off to the hardware shop tomorrow
I have watched Night Crew shooting dogs and hogs they use white lights that are very bright. They made a video of different lights. Red green white very interesting
That is pretty cool idea I hunt in sc just been given permission recently to hunt when ever I want a property with lots of hogs and like you said this is a cheap diy thank you
@@quiet-wolf there is a hunt on the channel with me using them. They work great. And to me red is a better color than green. Not as harsh of a transition of light when it comes on.
Solar spot lights work better, they turn at dark to sun rise. And I use the green tint, I apply it twice. They have been spooked when it turns on and off with motion. 🐗
@@infectedoutdoors man you did wonders on my old diamond but I blew out a cam bought a new bear threat and need to get you to look at it sight is bottoming out and windage is as far left as it will go ad me on messenger and I'll send you a picture of what I'm talking about Benjamin Harris
Was a good video until your daughter came in to frame. Then it became a GREAT video! I was totally not expecting her & then I just laughed my butt off. Thanks for not editing her out.
@@infectedoutdoors … Oh I think I might have missed read. I was thinking you meant, y'all went out there to hunt some hogs and had an accident while doing that. I hope he's OK. But would love to see some action under those lights that you made! Thanks for the video!
I did this but with 2 layers of green, sticky tint. Works great! Hogs don't even flinch when lights come on!
Great idea. I have these at my house and they work great! They run down fairly quickly, but they put out a lot of light.

Epic camera work she is the cutest and that seems like a nice idea for a kill light
Thanks bud. Hopefully in February I can hunt the lights and see if they work good or not
There are so many of these types of lights. I tend to make them out of the lawn/garden lights at Walmart.
I have done this with the bigger solar lights as well this works 10x’s better. It really lights up the area and works more consistent.
Nice diy video definitely will be trying in the future!!!!!
Tony Durham shoot yeah man
Does the light have to be red? That seems pretty dim to be accurate when shooting.

They definitely had a amazing set up
If you cut a slot in your 2x4 it will help sturdy up on the T-post
Very nice. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow
Good luck man!

South carolina as well
That is a hell of a idea
Big John's Life been wanting to make these for a while hopefully in February you see a hunt with them!!
Do they have a green spray?
I haven’t found any. This is for brake lights.
@@infectedoutdoors thanks. For me I would prefer the green as I can see it better for my eyes over the red.
But I guess it would depend on how much it can light up

Nice how did they work 4 u

Where did you get the green tint
I tried this, and the hogs have to be almost right under it for it to sense them to turn the light on. Yes, it was on the most sensitive setting.
I don’t have that issue, maybe it’s too high? Mine is barely 4’ off the ground. 48-56” somewhere in there.
You ever figure it out?
Nice!!!!
Green hog lights online are 23 bucks cheaper than 65 bucks.
Got you a new camera woman
The best hand out there!
How many lumens do you lose by painting them instead of using color gel?
Definitely ready to see some pigs drop under this light!
God bless....
Need bow work done you still doing it
Ben Harris I am probably going to start in March. Whatcha got??
