@@cryterion7770 37 minutes long, thats not a full 5 games. You know if mawkzy goes up by 2 games he wins. Simple. There are some exceptions with ff's and OT's but usually its pretty easy to tell.

I love watching Mawkzy play. He's basically the final iteration of ranked warrior. It feels like watching some sort of specialized RL robot take the pitch, where he just plays for every advantage at every moment, makes the most sensible strategic and tactical decisions at every moment, and only ever plays to WIN.
He doesn't need flashy plays if they're not the most-winning. He'll run out the clock to win. He can do aerial plays if he has to (though he's not the best), to win. He doesn't take unnecessary risks. He rarely overcommits. It's kind of mesmerizing for me, lol.

I would suggest making every video an hour.. that way I can't tell who wins by the third match based on the time left. Otherwise, I love the videos and thank you for bringing us great commentary over incredible matches.
He used to do that in the past, but the RUclips algorithm didn't like it that people left the videos early (when there was no game 5).
That's why he was kinda forced to do it this way.

@@WhosMalicious I’m not sure if you remember the streak zen started his 1s career off with, but he was pulling off stuff that was straight out of free play. His ceiling shot wasn’t even fo that level. His redirect off the sidewall was, but that was it.

Well he's not fully focused on 1v1 anymore and people have had to time to adjust. He's not some up and coming player that nobodies ever played against anymore.
Mawkzy is just too good. He’s playing at a level we’ve never seen before. Much higher than when Zen was on his winning streak. Also for Zen, he doesn’t look to be quite on form. He’s definitely better than what he showed in this but that’s mostly credited to Mawkzy

Does anyone know if there's a final stage where NA plays EU in this Salt Mine? I haven't heard anything about it but if so NA is in serious trouble. Mawkzy and Zen look almost unplayable.
He mentioned in another video that there may be an unofficial NA vs EU. Not everywhere in EU can play on USEast servers under 100 ping, that's why it's not set up.

First off, what are preliminary finals?? Why are there semifinals then a 2nd semifinals?
Secondly, why do the losers of 2 of the quarterfinals get to play again but the losers of the other 2 matches are eliminated??
Thirdly, why not just have the losers of the quarterfinals play one another and have the winners play one another and then have the winner of the losers play the winner of the winners and if the winner loses then have a bracket reset and play a 2nd match in the finals?
Or Finally, why not just have all 4 quarterfinal losers be eliminated and have a standard semifinals to grand finals?
Basically I'm mostly confused why only 2 of the players from the quarterfinals are eliminated yet the other 2 get a 2nd chance... like why's Trk get another chance meanwhile Zen didn't or why does Rw9 get a 2nd chance but Vatira didn't? And then mawkzy has to win twice to make the actual semifinals meanwhile nass wins once and is in the actual semifinals meanwhile okhalid has to win twice as well whereas dralii only has to win once? Makes no sense to me

I mean in all the time Zen is learning and grinding skills for RLCS, scrimming etc. Mawkzy is purely playing high level 1v1's, and it clearly shows. Mawkzy is just an absolute monster in 1v1's, but Zen has made a career out of playing in RLCS, so his time is most likely devoted primarily to supporting that career with 3v3's. Zen is probably one of, if not the best 1v1 player in RLCS EU which is absolutely stacked, and that's why he's here. If Mawkzy spent all his time in RLCS learning 3v3's instead of 1v1's i highly doubt we would see him this sharp in 1v1's. Phenomenal performance as usual by Mawkzy, and outstanding effort by Zen to even keep up when 1v1's is very much a side hustle for him.

Johnny Boi you should make your videos 60 minutes long like what they do for rlcs videos bc if one player is 2-1 up in points and theres 5 minutes left of the video its kind of a spoiler to whos going to win where as if theres more time left to the video you will never know who wins until its the final whistle..
He used to do that in the past, however the part of no content is not gonna be watched and RUclips's algorithm recognises that and stops recommending any of the videos.

You could also go the other way and say that if Mawkzy tried to main 3s he'd be the best in a couple months.. That's also just speculation.

Zen is giving way too much respect to other players lately. Seems like he's using this time to hone his 3s playstyle rather than brutalise every single play. Not going for multiple resets, insane pre flips. It's like he's treating it as scrims without the extra players.

Did the exact opposite & was a terrific team player supporting his team mates, defending & controlling plays to allow them time to rotate. Looks like he's trying to better that style of play more & more as he already proved he can 1v1 anyone on the roster before he went to RLCS.
Mawkzy not doing anything crazy, just flicks, flip resets and being insanely fast. Zen doing psychos but whenever he’s air dribbling just goes for bumps the oldest strategy, and pros already know how to defend that

@@luxito2347 he might be argued as the best player. And I want to believe that and he has proven he is from rlcs. But what happens in the future and the next rlcs will really solidify this. Some ppl just don't realise what levels he is bringing compared to other pros and how he went on a winstreak to be able to nearly take world no.1 in 1s. He might not be playing the same in 1s than he used 2. But it's a offseason and I believe he is either world no.1 or in the discussion. As mawkzey can't rlly say he's world no.1 due to no rlcs participation and Rw9 although very good isn't performing the same as Zen in rlcs and is losing some games in 1s currently against drali which is in incredible form.
