Is there a reason you sometimes use predispersed mica vs dry mica?
Gorgeous butterfly swirl! When do you add sodium lactate with the heat method and can you please share the direction for the swirl pattern? I've tried searching it on Google, not very successful.
I would add it to my oils. I used to use it for years but I found that it didn’t make a big difference in my recipe so I stopped using it.
I randomly swirl then pull the last one straight through the center that sometimes produces a good butterfly swirl :)

Doesn’t the vanilla turn the soap brown?
Depends on how much vanilian it has in it. This soap barely had any discoloration.
It has a little less than 2% vanillin
I am not a soap maker, but doesn't the hanger swirl negate the necessity of the drop swirl?
